About the Role:
We are looking to hire an entrepreneurial, analytical Key Accounts Manager to join Nanit’s US Retail team. The Key Accounts Manager will be responsible for our Department Store, Health, Baby & Kids Specialty, and Regional accounts. This person will be an integral part of our growth strategy by helping to deliver to our revenue and profitability targets while also building and maintaining strategic retail partnerships. This hands-on role will require ideal candidates to be collaborative and willingness to take on diverse projects that drive business growth, beyond traditional responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be able to manage a variety of account management activities such as item setup and maintenance, forecasting and line review preparation along with daily maintenance to ensure Nanit is top of mind and productive for our wholesale partners.
What you'll be doing:
- Deliver revenue targets by chasing new and existing opportunities
- Develop and implement strategies to meet targets and address performance gaps across key channels.
- Foster strong buyer-level relationships with customers and facilitate connectivity in other functional areas
- Negotiate and manage promotional spend within specified channels
- Actively review retailer forecast and adjust demand plan, in partnership with Demand Planning and Supply Chain counterparts
- Partner with Marketing to provide insights and manage retailer timelines
- Analyze sell-through performance and identify opportunities to achieve sell-in projections
- Manage retail resets, item setups, and similar processes with buyers and internal partners to ensure all deliverables are met
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2+ years of experience in sales or trade, with proven track record of managing revenue and vendor relationships
- Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding ambitious sales goals
- Self-motivated, business-driven and passionate about supporting Nanit as a disruptor in the IoT and baby industries
- Persuasive and creative problem-solver with a “can do” attitude and the drive to find opportunities
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, startup environment
- Experience in managing timelines both internally and externally
- Proficient business analysis and reporting skills using Microsoft Excel & Powerpoint (or Google Slides & Sheets)
- Will require candidates to travel 15-20% of the time
Preferred candidates will be based in NYC and required to be in the office 3 days per week. We will also consider highly qualified remote US candidates.
Salary Range: $100,000 - $115,000 targeted OTE. The compensation for this role includes an On-Target Earnings (OTE) structure, which is a total combination of base salary and performance based incentives, as well as equity and benefits. This is just one component of Nanit's total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, and basic life insurance. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
