Director of Sales

As the Director of Sales, you will play a vital role in driving revenue growth and expanding Nanonets' customer base. You will be responsible for leading and managing the sales team, as well as developing and executing effective sales strategies.

By identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and communicating the value proposition of Nanonets' AI automation solutions, you will contribute significantly to Nanonets' continued success in the market.

The ideal candidate for this role is a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record of exceeding targets and driving significant revenue growth.

You should possess excellent leadership and communication skills, combined with a deep understanding of the internet industry landscape.

A strong customer-centric approach, paired with a strategic mindset, will be essential in effectively promoting Nanonets' solutions and closing deals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth
  • Lead and manage a high-performance sales team, providing guidance, support, and motivation to achieve individual and team objectives
  • Identify new business opportunities and potential clients, and develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns that generate leads and increase brand awareness
  • Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform sales strategies and product development
  • Analyze sales data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build relationships and promote Nanonets' solutions

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a successful sales manager, executive or director
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of effectively managing and developing sales teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans, and achieve or exceed sales targets
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze market trends and customer data to inform sales strategies
  • Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and delivering business outcomes
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

The expected salary for this role is between $190,000 and $220,000. This role is hybrid with two days a week in office in Palo Alto, CA
