Senior Treasury Operations Analyst

The role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Senior Treasury Operations Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. This is a new role, as we build a Treasury function, which will be responsible for managing day-to-day treasury operations, supporting cash management, liquidity forecasting, and ensuring the efficient processing of financial transactions. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, an understanding of treasury functions, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll do

  • Cash Management:
    • Monitor and optimize daily cash positions to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
    • Facilitate the execution of daily cash transfers, bank account reconciliations, and manage funding requirements for various business units.
  • Bank Relationship Management:
    • Manage relationships with banking partners, ensuring smooth transaction processing and troubleshooting any issues related to payments or banking services.
    • Assist in the review and set up of bank accounts and provisioning of appropriate bank account access to employees.
  • Transaction Processing:
    • Oversee and process payments, including vendor and payroll payments,
      ensuring compliance with internal controls.
    • Prepare and reconcile journal entries related to treasury transactions.
  • Liquidity Forecasting:
    • Assist with the preparation of short-term and long-term liquidity forecasts to ensure optimal cash flow.
    • Provide insights into cash flow trends and help develop cash management strategies.
  • Reporting:
    • Prepare and distribute accurate and timely treasury reports, including daily cash reports, bank account activity, and liquidity updates.
    • Support the preparation of ad hoc reports to senior management and auditors as needed.
  • Treasury Systems:
    • Assist with the implementation of any new treasury management systems while ensuring data integrity.
    • Assist with the integration of new technology or systems to improve the efficiency of treasury operations.
  • Compliance & Risk Management:
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, company policies, and best practices for treasury operations.
    • Assist in managing and mitigating financial risks related to cash management and financial transactions.

What you’ll bring

  • Education & Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
    • 3+ years of experience in treasury operations.
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, financial modeling).
    • Familiarity with banking processes, payment systems, and cash management tools.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong communication skills to interact with internal teams and external
      banking partners.
    • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards in treasury
      operations.
  • Personal Attributes:
    • High level of integrity and professionalism.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
    • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

We’ll be extra pumped if you have

  • Experience with treasury management systems (TMS) is a plus.

Salary Range

$85,000 - $115,000 USD

Base pay will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, certifications, experience, market demands, and locations.
