Senior Project Manager

Remote - Canada

Narvar is growing! We are seeking a skilled Sr. Project Manager with expertise in managing strategic and enterprise implementation projects, and a strong customer advocate with industry knowledge. 

As a Senior Project Manager at Narvar, you will be instrumental in driving the successful end-to-end implementation of our solutions for our most strategic and enterprise-level retailers. You will lead complex, multi-faceted projects, ensuring a seamless customer experience from initial kickoff through post go-live support. Your expertise in project management methodologies, combined with your ability to navigate technical discussions and manage diverse stakeholder groups, will be key to maximizing time to value for our customers and strengthening Narvar's position as a trusted partner. You will also contribute to evolving our best-in-class Professional Services practices.

Day-to-day

  • Manage highly complex, global, multi-brand, and multi-region projects end-to-end for our Strategic and Enterprise retailers, including comprehensive kickoff, detailed requirements-gathering, meticulous project planning, proactive risk and stakeholder management, precise milestone tracking, through to successful launch and post go-live hypercare support.
  • Lead cross-functional teams formed to onboard customers, including customer engineers and carrier engineers, and drive successful end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring alignment and accountability.
  • Provide strategic and consultative advice to our customers to ensure successful integration with Narvar’s solutions while maximizing product time to value and adoption.
  • Communicate clearly, proactively, and effectively with executive-level customer contacts and internal teams to establish credibility, manage expectations, and ensure on-time project delivery.
  • Effectively manage escalations and complex scope changes, and lead the implementation of multi-phased projects or programs, including rigorous monitoring of project quality, adherence to timelines, hours allocation, risk mitigation, and performance metrics.
  • Proactively identify and provide innovative workarounds and out-of-the-box solutions where applicable to keep projects on track.
  • Drive continuous improvement within the best-in-class international Professional Services team via comprehensive documentation creation, process enhancements, and fostering an automation mindset.
  • Lead post-launch postmortems for critical knowledge sharing and organizational learning, identifying best practices and areas for improvement.

What we’re looking for

  • 8+ years of experience in customer-facing, enterprise-level software implementation, technical account management, consulting, or systems integration roles, ideally within a SaaS environment.
  • SaaS/Ecommerce/Retail experience is mandatory.
  • Highly organized and disciplined in reporting project progress, changes, and risks to all levels of stakeholders, including executives.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and build strong relationships with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Deep expertise in managing global, multi-brand, large e-commerce projects, with a strong command of advanced project management principles (phasing, milestone tracking) and a focus on customer experience.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, demonstrating exceptional time management, prioritization, and organizational skills while managing multiple complex projects simultaneously with meticulous attention to detail.
  • High accountability as an individual contributor and a key leader within a team.
  • Extensive, customer-centric experience with troubleshooting, post-launch monitoring, and comprehensive go-live support.
  • Executive-level interpersonal, project management, writing, communication, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to influence and negotiate.
  • Confidence in leading technical discussions on API connections, logistics/carrier integrations, and data transformation, and proficiency in reading JSON files (coding not required).
  • Adeptness at building scalable playbooks and processes to significantly improve delivery efficiency and productivity.
  • Experience with retail, e-commerce platforms, order management systems (OMS), inventory management, warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), supply chain, or logistics is a significant plus.

Below is the estimated annual salary for this position and does not include the other components that make up a Narvar offer including: annual bonus, equity, and benefits.
The range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across the US. Within the range, individual compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to, skill set, education and certifications, and work location. 

Narvar Pay Range

$170,000 - $200,000 CAD
