Business Analyst I, Returns & Insurance Operations

Hybrid - Bangalore

Narvar is growing! We are looking for a sharp and proactive Business Analyst to support and grow our Returns Concierge and Insurance businesses. This role requires a strong command of data tools, operational rigor, and business insight. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive performance, optimize processes, and deliver a great customer experience.

Day-to-day

  • Analyze and monitor performance data for the Returns Concierge and Insurance businesses using SQL, Google Sheets, and Excel.
  • Track KPIs and SLAs; identify and flag operational bottlenecks.
  • Develop and maintain performance dashboards and business reports.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure seamless service execution.
  • Provide insights to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Build scalable processes and support the development of SOPs and audit routines.
  • Support strategic planning, business reviews, and ad-hoc analysis as required

What we’re looking for

  • Strong proficiency in SQL – comfortable working with large datasets.
  • Advanced skills in Google Sheets and Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data automation.
  • Solid business acumen and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
  • Strong operational rigor – organized, reliable, and detail-oriented.
  • 3–6 years of experience in analytics, business operations, or a related function.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Prior experience in returns, logistics, or insurance operations is a plus.
  • A drive to make data-informed decisions. 
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • A passion for improving systems, solving inefficiencies, and enhancing the customer journey.
  • Ownership mentality with a bias for action.
