Sr UX Designer, Provider Experience (RWD)
As the Senior UX Designer, Provider Experience (RWD), you will be part of a small team dedicated to launching a new application. This app aims at helping Physicians access and visualize genetic data about their patients.
This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with Natera's leadership team on a 0>1 product.
What you will do
- Collaborate with your product partners to explore ways to deliver new features while meeting the team’s business objectives
- Create workflows, wireframes and high-fidelity designs that capture possible solutions to product requirements
- Draw sketches, illustrations and storyboards to represent complementary dimensions of the experience you envision
- Conduct User Research to understand Provider's needs when it comes to visualizing genetic data
- Support your engineering partners throughout the development lifecycle to ensure a smooth and timely delivery of features
- Partner with Natera’s other UX designers to leverage existing conceptual models and design patterns to create an internally and externally consistent application ecosystem
What you bring to the table

A portfolio including examples of complex enterprise applications you have designed either as the lead designer or as a part of a product team. This is important.
- Your Portfolio should also include examples of previous work on data visualization

Experience interviewing subject matter experts to develop task flows, journey maps or similar artifacts documenting end-to-end processes

The ability to present complex processes in a simple way

A solid knowledge of Interactions patterns and Design elements commonly used by leading enterprise applications

An even keel that allows you to prioritize and focus on those efforts that promise to impact most positively the business.

A functional understanding of the front-end and back-end technologies used by enterprise apps, particularly of the limitations APIs could impose on UX.

Experience working with senior stakeholders across the organization.

Previous experience working in Healthcare, or a related field is a plus.

This role reports into Natera’s Head of UX Design and Research.

This is a US-Remote position. You are welcome, but not obligated, to work from either our San Carlos, CA or Austin, TX hubs when you feel like change of scenarii.

Expect to travel for off-sites and working sessions at either our San Carlos, CA or Austin, TX office 2-4 times per quarter.
