HR Operations Coordinator
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for a combination of routine and non-routine technical and
administrative HR work. Performs some level of emerging professional HR responsibilities. Has a professional
understanding of the HR discipline but limited authority to execute independently. Typically work as part of a team
and operate under direct supervision. Supports multiple HR practices primarily by providing administrative duties
that can range from employee data entry and validation, filing and clerical tasks, event and meeting logistics and
coordination, HR process administration, answering HR-related questions for employees, running HRIS reports and
record management, and assisting other HR professionals and functions as needed.
2-3 Days a week in Pleasanton, CA. Office
PRIMARY RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Maintain personnel records ensuring compliance of all personnel documentation.
- Manage onboarding for new employees including new hire orientation.
- Coordinate compliance of various state and federal requirements including I-9 authorizations.
- Assist in providing support to employees by responding to questions and escalating issues as
necessary. - Assist with benefits administration of medical, dental, life insurance, 401K, FSA, HSA, open
enrollment and health fairs. - Assist in documentation of personnel policies, procedures and updating of employee handbook.
- Assist with employee communications, including compensation letters.
- Make employee changes related to compensation, department, manager, shifts etc. in HRIS and
coordinate with payroll. - Respond to requests for employment verifications and unemployment claims.
- Assist in maintaining HRIS data, with high degree of accuracy and timeliness, and additionally run
and distribute reports from HRIS as needed. Provide support for HRIS tasks related to
Performance Management process. - Manage the employee offboarding process.
- Update and/or create job codes in HRIS.
- Filing and administrative tasks.
- Help with various immigration paperwork.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in HR or related area highly
preferred. - Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant HR experience.
- Demonstrate ability to follow set policies and procedures.
- Adhere to regulatory guidelines in daily work.
- Ability to independently research topics.
- Ability to manage files and records.
- Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Demonstrate respect for employees and confidential material.
- Demonstrate thoughtful and appropriate oral and written communication in daily interactions.
- Knowledge of basic computer applications and various database and software programs.
- Knowledge of compensation principles and practices and salary schedules.
- Possess basic knowledge of Natera's mission, strategic aims, and programs.
