Product Launch Coordinator
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Launch Coordinator supports successful product rollouts by ensuring operational readiness, process alignment, and structured post-launch support. This role is ideal for someone with strong cross-functional communication skills, a systems-thinking mindset, and a proactive and accountable approach to problem-solving. The Launch Coordinator will develop, implement, and maintain scalable processes for new launches while providing hypercare support to ensure smooth adoption and integration across the organization.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate and support the end-to-end operational readiness for new product and service launches.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, clinical, and operational teams to ensure all launch requirements are met.
- Identify process or communication gaps and implement scalable, long-term solutions to improve launch execution.
- Work with training teams to ensure that new products and processes are integrated into new and existing team member training.
- Author and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process documentation related to launch processes.
- Monitor day-to-day launch activities and proactively resolve operational issues to meet deadlines and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Serve as a central point of contact for launch communications, status tracking, and issue escalation.
- Provide post-launch hypercare support by gathering feedback, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with relevant teams for resolution.
- Contribute to continuous improvement through lessons learned and post-launch retrospectives.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis and proactive resolution.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience working across functional teams.
- Ability to lead through influence and drive accountability in a matrixed environment.
- Comfortable working in dynamic, fast-paced environments with shifting priorities and high visibility.
- Demonstrated ability to design and optimize workflows that support operational scalability.
- Commitment to handling sensitive data, including PHI, in compliance with privacy and security standards.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Experience using Salesforce, project management tools (e.g., Jira), or LIMS systems.
- Strong data and analytics skills, with the ability to conduct intermediate-level analyses to support decision-making and process improvement.
- Background in healthcare, diagnostics, biotechnology, or other operations-heavy industries.
- Experience with process improvement, change management, project management, or implementation initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in operations, project coordination, or a similar role in a clinical, lab, or product-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and handling of PHI.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools.
