Clinical Oncology Specialist, GU
LOCATION: The territory covers part of the Central Region including key cities like St. Louis, MO and Oklahoma City, OK.
We are hiring for a Clinical Oncology Specialist (COS – GU). This is a high-impact, tumor-specific role focused on accelerating the adoption and growth of Signatera, our groundbreaking, first-in-class MRD ctDNA test. As a COS, GU, you’ll act as a strategic field partner and a key representative of Natera Oncology, collaborating cross-functionally to engage key opinion leaders (KOLs) across integrated delivery networks, academic medical centers, hospital systems, and select community oncology practices.
The position focuses on partnerships with Uro-Oncologists, Medical Oncologists, Pathologists, and other key stakeholders across the continuum of care.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a territory plan to achieve measurable results and maximize ROI.
- Drive daily sales activities including new account acquisition, customer retention, and territory growth.
- Build trusted partnerships with physicians and accounts.
- Deliver education on our products and provide innovative solutions tailored to clinical and business needs.
- Become an expert on Natera’s Signatera product, processes, and competitive landscape.
- Navigate the reimbursement environment and communicate value to providers.
- Achieve and exceed sales objectives through new patient acquisition and account expansion.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure order renewals, resolve missing information, and manage revenue.
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in collaboration with Natera’s Medical Affairs team.
- Identify and drive partnerships with academic centers, community cancer centers, and hospitals.
- Support the development of care pathways, institutional collaborations, and EMR integrations.
- Create and execute business plans aligned with national and organizational goals.
- Implement sales and marketing strategies that generate pull-through opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5+ years of proven sales success in Urology, GU Oncology, Medical Oncology, Surgical, Pathology, or Laboratory diagnostics, with documented results.
- Strong knowledge of the GU Oncology market, molecular diagnostics, personalized medicine, and reimbursement.
- Ability to travel overnight as required.
- Demonstrated leadership, business acumen, and excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to travel 50 - 75% of the time.
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.

The total on-target earnings (OTE) include:
- Competitive base salary with uncapped quarterly commissions.

The compensation package listed is for 1st year OTE, which are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. On-target earnings (OTE) represent the total potential income an employee can earn by achieving 100% of their performance goals. It combines a base salary with commissions and serves as an estimated figure rather than a guaranteed amount, providing a guideline based on average performance outcomes.
