POSITION SUMMARY 

The Associate Clinical Oncology Specialist (ACOS) is responsible for account sales, service, and support activities of all Oncology products within an assigned geography. The individual will sell the full suite of Natera’s Oncology products, support Clinical Oncology Specialists (COS) or vacant geographies, increase revenue and drive market development through direct interaction with individual accounts and caregivers in the oncology continuum of care. Responsibilities include cultivating and maintaining key relationships, working with customers and internal partners to solve the key issues of the day, and executing a strategic business plan to grow unit volumes. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Increase unit volumes by closing new physicians, accounts and growing volume in existing accounts. 

  • Become product experts on all Natera Oncology products and processes to maximize effectiveness in the field. 

  • Work with assigned COS to sell, maintain & support existing customers 

  • Travel to temporarily vacant geographies within an Area/Region to ensure continuity of customer support and business pull through. 

  • Assess the needs of medical professionals and staff members with a focus on customer support, coordination of logistics, and problem solving 

  • Promote quality client/patient relations and create a supportive climate by serving as a role model for other employees 

  • Respect and maintain the confidentiality of laboratory and financial information

  • Practice and adhere to all company policies and regulations 

  • Follow Compliance procedures and participates in Compliance training 

  • Perform miscellaneous duties with completion in a designated time frame 

  • Communicate with Natera staff and its customer to ensure quality 

  • Travel within the assigned territory as required, including participation in evening and weekend programs such as dinner events, conferences, and other territory management activities.

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 

  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience and/or clinical support experience such as OCN or other. 

  • Background or understanding in oncology (specifically solid tumors) is preferred 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES 

  • Proven track record of success in achieving and exceeding sales goals 

  • Award winning sales professional due to individual achievements 

  • Exceptionally bright, flexible, self-motivated, coachable, and results oriented with strong interpersonal and analytical skills 

  • Ability to think strategically as well as execute tactically 

  • Must act with a sense of urgency and work well under pressure

  • Have a strong desire to work in a fast-pace environment and must work independently and in a team environment with an internal drive to be successful

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills (written and verbal) with demonstrated ability to effectively present to both internal and external customers

  • Effective time management skills required with a demonstrated ability to assess and prioritize

  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel; Gmail; Sales Force.com

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

The total compensation package includes an annualized, uncapped commission in addition to the base salary. Additionally, we offer a car allowance.

El Especialista Clínico Asociado en Oncología (ACOS, por sus siglas en inglés) es responsable de las ventas de cuentas, el servicio y las actividades de soporte de todos los productos de Oncología dentro de una geografía asignada. El individuo venderá la gama completa de productos de Oncología de Natera, apoyará a los Especialistas Clínicos en Oncología (COS) o cubrirá geografías vacantes, aumentará los ingresos e impulsará el desarrollo del mercado a través de la interacción directa con cuentas individuales y proveedores de atención médica en el continuo de atención oncológica. Las responsabilidades incluyen cultivar y mantener relaciones clave, trabajar con los clientes y socios internos para resolver los problemas clave del día a día, y ejecutar un plan de negocios estratégico para aumentar el volumen de unidades.

RESPONSABILIDADES PRINCIPALES

  • Aumentar el volumen de unidades cerrando acuerdos con nuevos médicos y cuentas, y aumentando el volumen en las cuentas existentes.

  • Convertirse en expertos en productos de todos los procesos y productos de Oncología de Natera para maximizar la efectividad en el campo.

  • Trabajar con el COS asignado para vender, mantener y apoyar a los clientes existentes.

  • Viajar a territorios temporalmente vacantes dentro de un Área/Región para garantizar la continuidad del soporte al cliente y el flujo del negocio.

  • Evaluar las necesidades de los profesionales médicos y miembros del personal con un enfoque en el soporte al cliente, coordinación de logística y resolución de problemas.

  • Promover relaciones de calidad con clientes/pacientes y crear un clima de apoyo sirviendo como modelo a seguir para otros empleados.

  • Respetar y mantener la confidencialidad de la información de laboratorio y financiera.

  • Practicar y adherirse a todas las políticas y regulaciones de la compañía.

  • Seguir los procedimientos de Cumplimiento y participar en la capacitación de Cumplimiento.

  • Realizar tareas diversas completándolas en el plazo designado.

  • Comunicarse con el personal de Natera y sus clientes para garantizar la calidad.

  • Viajar dentro del territorio asignado según sea necesario, incluyendo la participación en programas nocturnos y de fin de semana, tales como cenas, conferencias y otras actividades de gestión del territorio.

REQUISITOS

  • Licenciatura (Bachillerato) o equivalente.

  • Mínimo de 2 años de experiencia en ventas y/o experiencia en soporte clínico (como OCN u otro).

  • Se prefiere experiencia o conocimientos en oncología (específicamente tumores sólidos).

  • Capacidad para pensar estratégicamente y ejecutar tácticamente.

  • Debe actuar con sentido de urgencia y trabajar bien bajo presión.

  • Tener un fuerte deseo de trabajar en un entorno acelerado; debe poder trabajar de forma independiente y en equipo con un impulso interno para tener éxito.

  • Excelentes habilidades de organización y comunicación (escrita y verbal) con capacidad demostrada para presentar eficazmente tanto a clientes internos como externos.

  • Habilidades efectivas de gestión del tiempo, con capacidad demostrada para evaluar y priorizar.

  • Dominio de Microsoft PowerPoint y Excel; Gmail; Salesforce.com.

Compensación: El paquete de compensación total incluye una comisión anualizada y sin tope, además del salario base. Adicionalmente, ofrecemos una asignación para automóvil (car allowance).

The compensation package listed is for 1st year OTE, which are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. On-target earnings (OTE) represent the total potential income an employee can earn by achieving 100% of their performance goals. It combines a base salary with commissions and serves as an estimated figure rather than a guaranteed amount, providing a guideline based on average performance outcomes.
