Regional Director, Breast Oncology
Location: The area will cover the West US Region.
Natera is seeking a strategic and visionary Regional Director, Breast Oncology to accelerate adoption of our market leading molecular residual disease test, Signatera. This role will lead a high performing team of ten Clinical Breast Oncology Specialists and drive commercial excellence across the West region.
As a subject matter expert in breast oncology, you will shape regional strategy, foster cross functional alignment, and build strong partnerships with key opinion leaders to position Natera at the forefront of oncology innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Clinical Oncology Specialists to meet and exceed sales goals while fostering a high performance culture.
- Develop and execute regional business plans to drive product adoption, market expansion, and sustained revenue growth.
- Identify, engage, and cultivate relationships with key opinion leaders within the breast oncology community.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with physicians, hospitals, and integrated health systems.
- Spend significant time in the field providing hands on coaching, strategic guidance, and market insight to elevate team performance.
- Manage regional budgets and resources effectively to support business objectives.
- Collaborate closely with oncology sales leadership and cross functional partners to align on strategy and execution.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, including HIPAA, privacy standards, and security requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or Marketing required. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of clinical sales experience with at least 5 years of sales management experience, ideally within oncology diagnostics.
- Deep expertise in breast oncology with established relationships across health systems, academic institutions, and oncology networks.
- Proven ability to navigate complex clinical environments with a strong understanding of the breast cancer landscape, including MRD, IHC, and genomic testing.
- Experience leading teams across large, multi state territories and delivering against ambitious growth targets.
- Willingness to travel 50 to 75 percent within the [East/West] region.
- Proficiency with Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.

The total on target earnings include a competitive base salary and uncapped quarterly commissions. The compensation package also includes a car allowance and Restricted Stock Units.
The compensation package listed is for 1st year OTE, which are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. On-target earnings (OTE) represent the total potential income an employee can earn by achieving 100% of their performance goals. It combines a base salary with commissions and serves as an estimated figure rather than a guaranteed amount, providing a guideline based on average performance outcomes.
