Associate Sustainability Analyst
GHG Accounting & Climate Action:
Support the collection, analysis, and reporting of GHG emissions data (Scopes 1, 2, and 3).
Maintain and enhance GHG inventory processes, ensuring alignment with leading frameworks (e.g., GHG Protocol, SBTi).
Support enterprise-wide sustainability reporting and disclosures, including CDP, EcoVadis, and other ESG frameworks and rating platforms.
Identify, develop, and execute decarbonization initiatives aligned with 2030 sustainability goals.
Build robust business cases to prioritize and secure support for emissions reduction projects.
Apply strong project management practices to drive cross-functional climate initiatives from planning through execution and performance tracking.
Stay current on regulatory changes and trends in climate disclosures, including SEC and other mandatory requirements.
Support Sustainability Leadership:
Partner with the Senior Director of Lab Operations to develop and execute sustainability strategies, goals, and initiatives aligned with enterprise priorities and 2030 targets.
Develop and deliver clear, compelling presentations for executive leadership, Board updates, and external stakeholders.
Support stakeholder engagement, including ESG-focused investor discussions and customer inquiries.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & CSR Programs:
Partner with operations, facilities, procurement, HR, finance, and legal teams to drive sustainability and CSR-related projects.
Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to execute sustainability initiatives and meet defined milestones.
Support and engage with employee resource groups (ERGs), including the Green Team, to drive employee participation in sustainability and community initiatives.
Own and manage the company’s charitable giving and donation matching program, including program administration, tracking, and reporting.
Support integration of sustainability and CSR goals across departments and business functions.
Data Management & Reporting:
Support and enhance sustainability data collection systems to ensure accuracy, consistency, and audit readiness.
Contribute to annual reporting, including sustainability reports and responses to ESG ratings and rankings (e.g., CDP, EcoVadis, TCFD-aligned disclosures).
Translate complex data into actionable insights and executive-ready communications.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation:
Monitor industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to advance ESG initiatives.
Identify and recommend innovative approaches to improve sustainability performance and accelerate progress toward 2030 goals.
