Business Intelligence Analyst
About the Role
We are seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE) to join Natera’s Patient Experience (PX) Data Science & Analytics team. This role is central to our mission of creating intelligent, adaptive systems that reduce friction in patient journeys, improve operational efficiency, and enable personalized experiences.
As a BIE, you will work with senior engineers, data scientists, and PX stakeholders to design reporting solutions, build dashboards, and support scalable data workflows. You will contribute to building tools that give our operations, billing, and call center teams the insights they need to deliver a seamless patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain SQL queries, data pipelines, and dashboards to support PX reporting needs.
Partner with senior BIEs to build patient journey visualization tools, ensuring touchpoints across billing, support, and communications are captured.
Perform data quality checks and troubleshooting to ensure accuracy and reliability of reporting.
Collaborate with data scientists to integrate AI solutions into BI workflows.
Support A/B test measurement and reporting by maintaining data extracts and dashboards.
Contribute to documentation, governance, and standardization of PX reporting processes.
Core Qualifications
Basic Required:
1–3 years of experience in BI, Data Analytics, or related roles.
Strong SQL skills and comfort working with relational databases.
Hands-on experience with at least one BI tool (Tableau, Quicksight, Power BI, etc.).
Familiarity with data modeling concepts (e.g., star schema, snowflake schema).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, able to explain data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with A/B testing concepts and analysis.
Preferred:
Exposure to patient journey analytics, healthcare operations, or customer experience data.
Experience with Python, dbt, or ETL frameworks for data transformations.
Eagerness to learn modern cloud data tools (Snowflake, AWS ecosystem, dbt).
