Business Operations Associate
Role Overview
Senior Financial Analyst to support invoice-level compliance audits and financial analysis. This role will initially focus on high-volume audit and reconciliation work to ensure financial accuracy and compliance, with the opportunity to expand into forecasting and profitability analysis over time.
This is an execution-focused role requiring strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work through large datasets with consistency and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Invoice Audits & Compliance

Perform detailed audits of invoices to ensure compliance with internal policies and established guidelines

Review high-volume transactional data to identify discrepancies, errors, or non-compliant charges

Track, document, and escalate audit findings to appropriate stakeholders

Maintain audit logs and support ongoing compliance reporting
Data Analysis & Reconciliation
-
Work extensively in Excel to analyze, clean, and reconcile large datasets
-
Identify patterns, anomalies, and trends within transactional data
-
Ensure data integrity across multiple sources and reports
Financial Analysis & Forecasting
-
Support forecasting processes using established models and templates
-
Update and maintain financial models (primarily Excel-based)
-
Assist with variance analysis and basic profitability tracking
Process Improvement

Identify opportunities to improve audit efficiency and data workflows
-
Help standardize and document repeatable processes
-
Contribute to automation or tooling improvements where applicable
Cross-Functional Support
-
Partner with operations and finance teams to resolve discrepancies
-
Communicate findings clearly and follow through on issue resolution
Qualifications
Required
-
4–6+ years of experience in financial analysis, audit, or similar roles
-
Advanced Excel skills (this is critical) including:
-
Pivot tables
-
Lookups (XLOOKUP / INDEX-MATCH)

Data cleaning and structuring
-

Experience working with large, unorganized datasets

Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive analysis with high accuracy
Preferred

Experience with invoice auditing, compliance checks, or reconciliation work

Exposure to forecasting or basic FP&A processes

Experience in healthcare or another high-volume, operational environment
