Patient Engagement Programs Manager (Oncology Marketing)

POSITION SUMMARY:

 

We are seeking a highly organized Patient Engagement Program Manager to join our Oncology Marketing team. This position will translate patient-engagement strategy into flawlessly executed programs. The Program Manager will lead cross-functional project plans, support advocacy initiatives, coordinate event logistics, consolidate performance metrics, and manage related budgets to strengthen brand awareness and patient impact.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Lead and manage cross-functional patient-engagement projects from brief through launch, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and on-brand delivery
  • Serve as the primary contact for selected patient-advocacy organizations, managing sponsorship deliverables and co-branded assets
  • Coordinate logistics for educational and promotional events, including booth assets, shipping, staffing schedules, and lead-capture technology
  • Consolidate marketing metrics from Digital Analytics and prepare executive dashboards linking engagement to pipeline and patient KPIs
  • Track line-item spend, reconcile invoices, and maintain accurate budget forecasts
  • Drive production timelines for patient videos, case studies, blogs, and other storytelling assets in partnership with Creative and Medical Affairs

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

The ideal candidate will have a passion for amplifying patient and caregiver voices, supporting advocacy missions, and ensuring the cancer community is informed about precision-medicine advancements.

Qualifications include:

  • 4–10 years of project or program-management experience in diagnostics, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare marketing, or patient advocacy
  • Experience working in Oncology or another regulated healthcare environment
  • Direct or indirect experience with patient-focused educational campaigns and advocacy engagements
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in a healthcare, science, or business field preferred



KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong project-management discipline with the ability to create detailed timelines, RACIs, and risk-mitigation plans
  • Excellent organizational skills and budget stewardship
  • Ability to distill complex scientific information into clear, patient-friendly language
  • Confident communicator who can “lead up” and present progress to executive leaders regularly
  • Proficiency with project-management platforms and the Microsoft Office and Google Workspace suit
  • Comfort navigating legal/compliance review cycles in a fast-paced environment
The pay range is listed and actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
