Job Title: Direct Care Aide
Job Type: Full-time
Shift: Day
Salary Range: $14.75 - 18.25/hour (Final offer based on your unique skills, experience, and professional background)

What You’ll Do

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Provide support with mobility, transfers, and physical exercises.
  • Prepare meals and assist residents with eating and drinking.
  • Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment.
  • Administer prescribed medications and monitor residents’ health conditions as directed.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to residents.
  • Document care provided and report any changes in residents’ conditions to the healthcare team.
  • Accompany residents to appointments and assist with errands as needed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to coordinate care.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Successful completion of a Personal Care Aide (PCA) training program approved by the Virginia Department of Medical Assistance Services, OR
  • Successful completion of a Direct Care Aide (DCA) training program approved by the Virginia Department of Social Services
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
  • Capacity to work independently while also demonstrating a team player mentality
  • Passion for serving older adults and enhancing their quality of life
  • Recent graduates are welcome; we will provide training on our processes and culture
