What You’ll Do

Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Provide support with mobility, transfers, and physical exercises.
Prepare meals and assist residents with eating and drinking.
Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment.
Administer prescribed medications and monitor residents’ health conditions as directed.
Offer companionship and emotional support to residents.
Document care provided and report any changes in residents’ conditions to the healthcare team.
Accompany residents to appointments and assist with errands as needed.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to coordinate care.

What We Are Looking For:

Successful completion of a Personal Care Aide (PCA) training program approved by the Virginia Department of Medical Assistance Services, OR
Successful completion of a Direct Care Aide (DCA) training program approved by the Virginia Department of Social Services
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
Capacity to work independently while also demonstrating a team player mentality
Passion for serving older adults and enhancing their quality of life
Recent graduates are welcome; we will provide training on our processes and culture
