Salary Range: $93,600 – $114,400 per year (Final offer based on your unique skills, experience, and professional background)

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Gerontology, Behavioral Health, Activities/Recreation, or related field preferred
  • Experience working with older adults in a senior health-care setting (group home skilled nursing facility or adult day care) or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred
  • Supervisory and management experience required, in health care environment is preferred
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be able to work flexible hours to assist with Manager On-Duty responsibility
  • Must be able to relate to residents, families, customers and team members in a courteous and diplomatic manner under all circumstances
  • Must possess strong written and oral communication skills; and ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Strong sense of urgency managing daily workload and responding to phone calls and emails
  • Build strong interpersonal relationships with internal and external team members.
  • Demonstrate a compassionate attitude and dedication towards achieving goals of meeting resident/guest needs
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Multi-task and problem solve with a professional and positive demeanor
  • Must be able to prioritize, demonstrate excellent attention to detail and effective organizational skills
  • Proficient working independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have a commitment to providing excellent customer service and be professional on the phone, in person and in written communication
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, e-mail and shared office calendar

What You’ll Do

Resident Engagement & Programming

  • Lead and inspire team members to create and facilitate a diverse calendar of engaging events, activities, and initiatives for residents.
  • Collaborate with other departments on special events, community celebrations, and enrichment opportunities.
  • Gather feedback and assess resident satisfaction, adjusting programs to meet evolving interests and needs.
  • Ensure all activities and programs reflect the highest standards of safety, inclusivity, and quality.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Recruit, train, and supervise Life Enrichment and Engagement staff, supporting their growth and development.
  • Schedule and coordinate team coverage to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Foster a positive work environment, providing guidance, support, and regular feedback to team members.
  • Build relationships with residents, families, and partners to enhance community life and foster lasting connections.
