SUMMARY
As an IT Specialist with Nature’s Bakery, you’d be providing front-line support to help resolve issues with software, hardware, peripherals, along with overall general end user support. This position requires problem-solving, providing technical assistance, and supporting coordination with team members for computer hardware, software, and applications. This support analyst role is located onsite at our Salt Lake City, Utah facility with a focus on supporting a large-scale production facility as well as other branches of the organization as a member of an overall IT team spanning across the States.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Respond to incoming service desk requests.
- Resolve IT support requests.
- Work with internal and external partners to coordinate support activities.
- Prioritize and escalate issues to ensure timely problem resolution.
- Suggest, test, implement, and evaluation solutions collaboratively.
- Participate in projects as requested.
- Identify and record system issues and participate in change management.
- Provide end user training, onboarding, & offboarding.
- Assist in maintaining IT documentation libraries across the organization.
- Participate in and reciprocate cross functional training to support SLAs and knowledge sharing.

COMMUNICATION:
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals and groups at all levels of the organization.
- Effective communicator with translating technical conversations between team members & varying levels of technical expertise.
- Able to work as part of a remote team, stay in good communication with IT located in other parts of the country – to escalate high priority issues, or receive needed assistance as needed.
TECHNOLOGY KNOWLEDGE:
- Principles of troubleshooting and analysis functions.
- Knowledge of ITIL/ITSM or similar methodologies.
- Proficiency with Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office stack.
- Ability to patch/upgrade/troubleshoot end-user devices (Dell/Lenovo) including OS, firmware, applications, etc.
- General understanding of Active Directory & Group Policy in relation to end-user devices.
- Knowledge of Office 365 stack is a plus.
ANALYTICAL ABILITY:
- Ability to perform root cause analysis.
- Analyze service desk requests to respond to service desk requests and problems.
- Analyze and troubleshoot hardware and software issues & collaboratively escalate.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Associate degree in computer related discipline and/or 2–3 years relevant experience.
- Familiarity with manufacturing environments is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Experience working with End Point Configuration Manager, Intune, or another MDM tool is a plus.
- Experience working with ITSM and change control is a plus.
