About The Role:

The Learning and Development team is looking for a Skills Development Specialist to join our growing department at Kensington. As one of our Skills Development Specialists, you’ll be one of the first faces that new hires see in the organization, and you’ll play a critical role in ensuring that every new team member has the knowledge, skills, and tools to achieve their sales goals and be a successful member of the Kensington team. Additionally, you’ll deliver ongoing training to the broader Kensington sales team to drive continuous improvement and success.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Deliver a range of workshops and activities on our internal systems, sales processes, and client service standards.
  • Facilitate learning sessions for our Destination Expert new hires throughout their first few months at the organization, including in-person and remote training sessions.
  • Provide one-on-one coaching to new hires, offering tailored guidance to accelerate their development.
  • Assist new hires with uploads
  • Confirm eLearning completion
  • Run group coaching check-ins
  • Assess new hires’ skills against established criteria and communicate their progress to relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide regular feedback to new hires and other team members to support their professional growth.
  • Work collaboratively with Kensington Sales Directors to align training efforts with organizational goals.
  • Be an expert in using TMT and demonstrate its application effectively to others.
  • Apply facilitation best practices and adult learning principles to ensure impactful training sessions.
  • Assist team members with other learning and development duties, including LMS content management, scheduling, company-wide projects, professional development workshops, and technology training.
  • Provide ad hoc support
  • Serve as a company expert, embodying and championing Kensington's values, standards, and best practices.
