Business Development Manager

Are you a sales hunter with a passion for building relationships and closing deals? Kensington is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive growth in our corporate travel division. Your sales area being all of North America, you will focus on mid-market to enterprise clients. 

 

As a BDM, you will: 

  • Own and grow your sales pipeline, presenting results to leadership. 
  • Identify, pursue, and convert new prospects into long-term clients. 
  • Participate in monthly and annual planning sessions to establish and achieve long-term objectives. 
  • Attend joint client appointments and collaborate with team members. 
  • Demonstrate a winning, growth-oriented attitude in all aspects of the role. 
  • Commit to personal and professional development to consistently improve performance. 
  • Consistently hit and exceed KPIs while contributing to a winning culture. 
  • Collaborate with Operations, Implementation and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless client experiences 
  • Hold yourself accountable to meeting and exceeding annual revenue and client acquisition targets 
  • Uphold our values of honesty, integrity, and professionalism. 
  • Adhere to company Rules of Engagement. 
  • Identify, pursue, and convert new prospects into long-term corporate travel clients. 

 

What We’re Looking For: 

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding targets. 
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders (an asset). 
  • Ability to organize, plan, and prioritize effectively. 
  • Proficiency with HubSpot, Outreach, and Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills with C-level prospects. 
  • A goal-driven, results-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive independently and in a team. 
  • Ability to travel between Canada and the USA 
  • Travel industry experience preferred but not required.
