Senior UX Designer

Toronto, ON, Canada

About the Role

TripArc’s UX team is seeking an experienced Senior UX Designer to act as a strategic partner on key initiatives. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, prototype, and refine digital experiences across multiple proprietary technology platforms that drive sales and business performance.

Our UX team serves as the voice of hundreds of Destination Experts and Travel Advisors, designing tools that make it easier to manage complex travel workflows—from itinerary building to quote and booking management.

You will own your product domain, developing deep expertise in both our platforms and the competitive travel technology landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify user needs and design intuitive solutions through sketching, prototyping, and testing.

  • Conduct discovery research to develop a deep understanding of user behavior, the market, and competitive products.

  • Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to deliver seamless, consistent experiences.

  • Create wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and interactive prototypes for web and mobile platforms.

  • Document detailed interaction models, user flows, and UI specifications.

  • Partner with fellow designers to ensure design system consistency and promote UI best practices.

  • Balance user needs with business goals to design experiences that drive measurable impact.

  • Continuously iterate and improve designs based on data and user feedback.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in UX design.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in UX, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.

  • An online portfolio showcasing UX design work and process.

Skills We’re Looking For

  • Strong UX and visual design capabilities, with experience extending and maintaining design systems.

  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and deliver solutions in evolving product environments.

  • A balance between innovation and practicality, designing for both user delight and business outcomes.

  • A growth mindset — open to feedback, iteration, and continuous learning.

  • Proven ability to collaborate and build trust across cross-functional teams.

  • Proficiency with Figma, Axure, or other prototyping tools.

  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills to present design rationale effectively.

  • Experience working in fast-paced, agile environments.

  • Understanding of HTML/CSS/JS capabilities and constraints.

  • Ability to define and track UX success metrics to measure design effectiveness.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience designing for B2B platforms or travel industry tools.
