Director of GTM Systems & Architecture

Remote within the US or Canada

Nav is the leading credit and financial health platform used by more than 2.4 million small business owners in the United States.

We’re on a mission to give every small business owner the chance to succeed. The team views each day as an opportunity to challenge the norm, push boundaries, and create meaningful products, services, and experiences that make a positive difference for small business owners each and every day.

At Nav, our team is just as diverse as the customer base we serve. And, that’s something we’re incredibly proud of. We value individualism just as much as we do hard work, talent and smarts.

Working at Nav isn’t just a job — it’s an opportunity to gain invaluable experience, work with dedicated professionals, and make a real, lasting impact.

If you’re ready to be part of a team that’s driven by heartfelt purpose and data, let’s talk.

We’re looking for a Director of Go To Market systems/architecture. The main focus of this role is to help drive multiple departments to help them create a vision of the goals of their communications systems and the technology and data flows that feed them. They will proactively partner in the entire flow of early ideation through to execution as we think of new and better ways to use our tools. They will oversee a team to execute the implementation part of that vision.

This role will influence Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Support, Engineering, and Data. These teams rely on the systems and workflows that support the customer lifecycle; their outcomes are directly tied to system reliability, data integrity, workflow design, and communication alignment. To operate effectively, these teams need unified GTM systems architecture that connects customer data, communication channels, and lifecycle processes across CRM, telephony, chatbot, SMS, marketing automation tooling and AI-adjacent tooling.

YOU WILL:

  • Create a full GTM systems architecture incorporating data flows, integrations, ownership, and dependencies.
  • Develop a GTM systems strategy outlining long-term direction, key initiatives, and prioritization principles.
  • Build cross-functional governance processes for guiding new workflows, integrations, and data model changes.
  • Implement conventions, data standards, and lifecycle stage definitions across all tools.
  • Set quarterly strategic reviews to align roadmaps across Sales, Marketing, CS, Engineering, and Data.
  • Prioritize high-impact automations and integrations that reduce manual work and improve data quality across teams.
  • Define SLAS and working agreements for enhancement delivery, UAT participation, and change communication

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Experience with getting Executive alignment and sponsorship across Sales, Marketing, CS, Engineering, and Data to support unified governance and prioritization.
  • Experience with dedicated technical resourcing, defining engineering and data bandwidth for integrations and pipelines, and clearly defined capacity allocation across operational resources.
  • Experience working with multiple departmental stakeholders for process mapping, requirements gathering, and alignment on cross-functional workflows.
  • Experience with strategic planning, documentation, and architecture design rather than only operational firefighting.
  • Demonstrated leader in operating an effective team, both driving their individual growth and alignment with organizational needs.

More about Nav

Inclusion at Nav:

At Nav, we celebrate what makes our employees unique because the businesses we serve are progressively diverse and distinctly original. Navericks are diverse, side hustlers, immigrants, veterans, queer, and we push generational boundaries. We are college dropouts, PhDs, special needs parents, allies, pet owners and community leaders. Navericks are human. We are committed to upholding a safe, supportive environment where everyone matters. We are committed to making a better future for all of us. We have created a workplace where people of all backgrounds can express their identities authentically. To put it simply, we want you to be proud to be you.

Our Compensation Philosophy is simple but powerful:

At Nav, we are transparent about our total rewards, including pay, across all levels and roles. We believe great, enduring relationships are grounded in trust and transparency. Compensation shouldn’t be a distraction, and employees should understand how pay and career advancement decisions are made. Providing equal pay for equal work is table stakes for being a great place to work. We believe providing employees with company ownership, competitive pay, and a range of meaningful benefits is the start of creating a culture where people want to give the best they’ve got—not because they’re simply making money, but because they’ve fallen in love with our vision, mission, values, and team.

During the interview process, your recruiter will explain how our rubrics work across all of our total rewards (base, equity, bonus, perks, and benefit) offerings . The base salary for this role is targeted between $150K - $195K per year. The final offer amount is determined by your proficiencies within this level.

Our impact on you:

Competitive pay. Company ownership. Flexible PTO. Benefits day one. 6 weeks paid parental leave. Work from anywhere (yes we were distributed before it was cool). Flexible work arrangements. Free Telehealth and Telemental Health for all employees. Community network groups (women’s, PRIDE, culture). Meaningful perks and rewards. Learning and development opportunities. Pet insurance.

A Naverick’s DNA:

  • We look at the future and say “why not”; we see possibilities where others see problems or routines. We show the way ahead and are committed to achieving ambitious goals.
  • We practice straight talk and listen generously to each other with empathy. We value different opinions and point of views. We ensure that we connect outside as well as inside to learn from others and inspire each other.
  • We hold ourselves accountable for delivering results. We find the path forward when circumstances are difficult.. We’re much more interested in how to help the customer succeed than litigating why we’ve struggled to before.
  • As leaders we motivate & engage our teams to undertake beyond what they originally thought possible, by developing our teams & creating the conditions for people to grow and empower themselves through enabling & coaching.

Race & Ethnicity Definitions

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
