
Client Service/Operations Associate

Position Summary
NorthCoast Asset Management, a Division of Kovitz Investment Group, is looking for a Customer Service / Operations Associate to join our team in their Stamford, CT office. This role will report directly to the Senior Director Operations and work closely with the marketing and operations team. Primary responsibilities include submitting and managing client paperwork to custodians, entering client information into various systems, maintaining our CRM system, troubleshooting custodial and client operations issues, client mailings, answering phones, greeting visitors, ordering office supplies and office maintenance.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task. A hands-on approach and desire to work in a growth-oriented environment is crucial to this role’s success. This individual must have strong command of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Primary Responsibilities
- Submit and manage client paperwork to custodians.
- Manage and own custodial paperwork changes.
- Enter client information in our CRM and portfolio account system.
- Managing our CRM system.
- Troubleshooting system, custodial and client operational issues.
- Answer phones, and route client requests appropriately.
- Research and resolve any client account issue.
- Help coordinate company lunches and team events
- Welcome visitors and assist with client mailings.
- Help with ordering office supplies, distributing mail, office maintenance and conference room scheduling.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong command of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- A positive attitude and high energy level
- Proactive communication and follow-up.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Experience in the financial services industry a plus
- Salesforce experience a plus
The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $50,000-$60,000. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
