Partnerships Manager

The Partnerships Manager will assist and support the Business Development & Partnerships team directly engaging with brands & licensors, marketing and advertising agencies, first-party partners, paid content creators & agencies, and other external partners that create long-term value to NC America and NCSOFT’s portfolio.
The Team:
The Business Development & Partnerships team at NC America is responsible for sourcing, managing, and negotiating partnerships across all NCSOFT’s games, brands, and IPs for the West.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in bringing in new business partners, agencies, and paid content creators for all brands and games; develop new activations and campaigns with said partners
- Assist team with marketplace trend research and identify new partners and opportunities for licensing
- Support first-party partner relationships by preparing reports on market trends, competitor activities, and growth objectives. Manage day-to-day communication with licensees and external partners
- Support NC America games and brands with new insights and research focused on optimizing reach, brand value, growth, and maximizing current and future trends in the video game industry
- Provide frequent strategic partnership reports and analysis of NC America brand partnerships, along with competitor audits and reviews
- Build, maintain, and improve relationships with key internal stakeholders, external strategic partners, marketing agencies, and licensing partners to scale to each respective game, including seeing through all approvals
- Assist in overseeing key partnerships and vendors as the main liaison facilitating communication, asset management, and deliverables, and when applicable, invoicing and payment for partnership fulfillment
- Create presentations and reports for previous business partnerships with KPI tracking
- Collaborate in-office domestically and internationally to see each partnership through to its conclusion
- Represent NC America at gaming & entertainment tradeshows and conventions, along with licensor summits and gaming & entertainment tradeshows, and conventions
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and training, and experience
- 2-5 years’ brand partnerships experience and/or brand marketing agency with an emphasis in gaming
- Strong network in the video game industry
- Deep knowledge of online gaming and the broader gaming market
- Highly self-motivated and enthusiasm for NCSOFT products
- Collaborative mindset and ability to learn quickly and be adaptable
- Skilled communicator with excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills
Irvine, CA pay range
$70,000 - $85,000 USD
