Senior Producer

Irvine, California

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Producer to drive the delivery of live operations content and coordinate cross-functional publishing efforts for our live-service MMORPG.

This is a senior individual contributor role sitting on the publisher side, responsible for owning the publishing delivery schedule, keeping cross-functional teams aligned and on track, and serving as the operational backbone of the live-service content pipeline. You will work closely with NC's development team in Korea, as well as NC America's Marketing and Community teams, to ensure content reaches Western players on time and at the quality bar we've set.

This role requires organizational discipline, cross-cultural communication, and live-service instincts to make a complex, multi-stakeholder publishing operation run smoothly. You are a connector, a planner, and an executor who thrives in the structured chaos of a live MMORPG environment.

Responsibilities

  • Publishing Delivery

    • Own the NC America publishing delivery schedule for live operations content, ensuring all milestones are clearly defined, tracked, and met across teams.
    • Build and maintain master production timelines that account for content cadence, regional dependencies, and cross-functional review cycles.
    • Identify schedule risks early and drive resolution, escalating blockers, adjusting scope where needed, and keeping stakeholders informed of changes.
    • Establish and refine production processes that scale with the game's live-service cadence, from seasonal events to major content updates.
    • Run production syncs, maintain clear meeting cadences, and ensure action items are tracked and followed through
    • Manage publishing relationships with first-party platform partners including Steam, PlayStation (Sony), and Xbox (Microsoft).

    Live Operations & Seasonal Content

    • Partner with the Korea dev team to coordinate the delivery of live events, seasonal content, and in-game campaigns to maintain visibility and tracking dependencies across dev, community, marketing, and CS to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
    • Partner with Marketing and Community teams to ensure live ops content including patch notes, event announcements, campaign assets, and player-facing communications is delivered on schedule
    • Support post-event retrospectives by tracking what shipped on time, what didn't, and what process changes would help next cycle.

    Cross-Cultural Collaboration

    • Serve as a key NC America production contact for NC's development team in Seoul, building trusted working relationships that enable effective day-to-day coordination.
    • Manage the flow of content, assets, and information between the Korea dev team and NC America's publishing functions, ensuring alignment across a distributed production environment.
    • Participate in cross-regional production syncs, track dev-side deliverables, and proactively flag risks to the Western publishing schedule.
    • Navigate time zone complexity and cultural differences with professionalism and communication discipline, understanding when to push, when to align, and how to keep things moving across organizational boundaries.

Qulifications

Required

  • 3+ years of production experience managing live-service MMORPG titles generating $50M+ in revenue.
  • Demonstrated experience owning a publishing or content delivery schedule across multiple cross-functional teams.
  • Strong project management fundamentals: timeline building, milestone tracking, risk management, and clear documentation.
  • Proven ability to coordinate across functions without direct authority over those teams.
  • Experience managing publishing relationships with first-party platform partners including Steam, PlayStation (Sony), and Xbox (Microsoft), including submission processes, certification requirements, patch approval workflows, and platform-specific content requirements.
  • Familiarity with first-party platform roadmaps, release windows, and partner communication cadences across PC and console storefronts.
  • Experience working with international or cross-cultural development teams, with the ability to navigate cultural differences in a professional, collaborative way.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to run tight meetings, write clear briefs, and communicate status to stakeholders at all levels.

Nice to Have

  • 5+ years of production experience in the games industry.
  • Experience working on the publisher side of a developer-publisher relationship, especially with Eastern development studios.
  • Background coordinating localization or versioning workflows for Western markets.
  • Familiarity with MMORPGs or other large-scale online games, either professionally or as an active player.
  • Experience with production tooling such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
