The Opportunity

nCino KYC Africa is on a mission to make money laundering impossible. Our software and compliance services help accountable institutions worldwide meet their obligations – from attorney groups to asset managers and foreign exchange firms.

As Account Manager, you own relationships that matter. You'll lead your own renewals and commercial negotiations across, and shape how those organisations think about compliance risk.

What You'll Do

• Own renewals and commercial negotiations across portfolios
• Identify and close opportunities to upsell existing services and introduce complementary ones
• Drive product adoption — show clients the functionality that increases their usage and their return
• Guide clients through change management and product enhancements
• Lead meetings and presentations with senior and C-suite stakeholders
• Assess client needs and business objectives continuously, and act on what you find
• Coordinate across compliance, onboarding, product, support engineering and finance so client expectations are met
• Resolve product issues and concerns, including moderately complex ones, end to end
• Shape initiatives that lift satisfaction and retention across the customer base
• Bring a considered approach to client onboarding, delivered within agreed timeframes
• Support the wider team in meeting financial targets and growth objectives

Ideally You'll Have

• A tertiary qualification
• 2+ years' work experience, preferably in a client-facing role
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the confidence to navigate and mediate conflict
• A solution-oriented mindset and strong business acumen
• A talent for building and sustaining senior professional relationships
• Strong organisation, prioritisation and time management across a large portfolio
• Sound judgement — the ability to assess a problem, evaluate it properly, and recommend a way forward
