About the project 
 
As a Jira Cloud Administrator, you will serve as the go-to expert for JIRA at the client, handling requests, defining solutions, prioritizing tasks, and implementing improvements directly within the platform. A strong technical foundation is essential, as well as management skills and the autonomy to operate proactively. 
 
 
How your day-to-day work will look like 
 
Act as the primary owner and point of contact for JIRA within the organization. 
Administer, configure, and optimize JIRA projects, workflows, permission schemes, custom fields, automations, and dashboards. 
Receive internal requests, evaluate options, assess impact, and implement technical solutions within JIRA. 
Manage multiple simultaneous requests, effectively prioritizing and responding to critical needs. 
Coordinate with security, development, product, and other teams to align JIRA configurations with cross-functional requirements. 
Drive continuous improvement within the platform, aligning with ITSM/Agile best practices. 
Document configurations, decisions, and internal processes for traceability and scalability. 
Promote JIRA adoption across teams and act as an enabler for efficient usage of the tool. 
Elevate the use of JIRA to a strategic level, participating in planning and decision-making processes. 
 
This would make you the ideal candidate 
 
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 
4+ Years of experience working Jira Cloud administration: Advanced experience configuring permission schemes, custom workflows, automation rules, custom fields, and notification schemes. 
2+ Years of experience working with JQL and Automation: Skilled in building complex filters and automation rules using built-in tools or third-party plugins like Automation for Jira. 
2+ Years of experience working with JIRA Software and JIRA Service Management: Proficient in both environments, with capability to integrate development and support workflows. 
2+ Years of experience working with Security & Compliance: Experience collaborating with GRC or InfoSec teams to implement secure and compliant JIRA configurations. 
✨ 2+ Years of experience working with Integrations: Experience integrating JIRA with other tools (Confluence, Slack, Git, internal systems or APIs. 
✨ 2+ Years of experience working with Agile and ITSM Practices: Familiarity with implementing Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and service management processes within JIRA. 
✨ Experience with specific Jira add-ons (e.g., Tempo, ScriptRunner, Confluence). 
Advanced English Level is required for this role as you will work with US clients. Effective communication in English is essential to deliver the best solutions to our clients and expand your horizons.
