Help build systems that ensure quality, compliance, and operational excellence. As a QMS Specialist, you’ll play a key role in strengthening processes, driving audit readiness, and enabling scalable growth across the organization. This role sits at the center of compliance and continuous improvement, helping teams work smarter, more consistently, and with confidence.

Why This Role Matters:

Quality Management System Administration

  • Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with AS9100, company requirements, and applicable compliance standards.
  • Support the development, revision, control, and maintenance of policies, procedures, work instructions, quality records, and controlled documents.
  • Ensure document control processes remain effective, compliant, and consistently followed.
  • Monitor QMS effectiveness and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Support administration and continuous improvement of a multi-site QMS across headquarters, engineering, and manufacturing operations to ensure standardized processes and compliance alignment.

Internal and External Auditing

  • Plan, coordinate, and conduct internal QMS audits across multiple functions.
  • Support and coordinate customer, registrar, regulatory, and other external audits.
  • Document audit findings, track action items, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Verify the effectiveness of corrective actions, preventive actions, and process improvements.

Compliance and Corrective Actions

  • Support corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities related to audit findings, quality system issues, and compliance gaps.
  • Drive root cause analysis, corrective action follow-up, and closure across the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable quality standards, customer requirements, regulatory expectations, and internal procedures.
  • Support organizational readiness for audits, compliance reviews, and certification activities.

Training and Process Support

  • Support training initiatives related to QMS processes, quality procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Provide guidance to cross-functional teams on quality procedures, documentation expectations, and compliance requirements.
  • Assist process owners with process standardization, documentation, and continuous improvement.
  • Promote a culture of quality, compliance, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Continuous Improvement and Reporting

  • Track, analyze, and report QMS metrics, audit results, corrective action status, and quality system performance indicators.
  • Identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities to enhance QMS effectiveness.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on compliance, operational excellence, and scalable quality processes.
  • Support the development of standardized, scalable quality processes as the organization grows.

What you’ll Bring:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience implementing, managing, and auditing Quality Management Systems
  • Experience leading or supporting internal and external audits
  • Strong understanding of AS9100 or comparable quality standards
  • Experience managing document control and corrective action processes
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Leadership teams
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to drive accountability collaboratively
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a proactive, problem-solving approach
  • Experience supporting standardized quality processes across multiple functions or sites within a manufacturing or regulated environment

This is the expected compensation range for this role. Final compensation will be based on role scope, experience, skills, internal equity and location. This role may also be eligible for bonus/equity/benefits, if applicable.

$90,000 - $120,000 USD
