What you will be doing
The Head of Government Affairs will be the primary point of contact between Neros and U.S. government stakeholders, including Congress, the Department of Defense, and other federal agencies. This leader will be responsible for shaping Neros’ public policy agenda, driving advocacy efforts, and securing strategic wins that advance both national security interests and company growth.
You should have the following
- 10+ years of experience in government affairs, defense policy, or related roles, with a strong track record of success influencing policy and regulatory outcomes.
- Deep knowledge of the U.S. defense ecosystem, including DoD procurement, congressional appropriations, and national security policy.
- Strong existing relationships within Congress, the Department of Defense, and relevant regulatory agencies.
- Proven ability to translate complex technical issues into compelling policy narratives.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and public speaking skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have
- Experience in a private sector company
- Executive Branch experience (preferably DoW)
US Salary Range
$180,000 - $225,000 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are considered part of Neros' total compensation package.
