IT Support Analyst II
Who we are
Neros is a defense technology company rebuilding America’s drone industrial base. We design and manufacture high-performance unmanned systems that are tested in combat, iterated at startup speed, and built at massive scale. Our team culture is fast, hands-on, and obsessed with closing the gap between design and deployment.
As drones transform the character of warfare, Neros is delivering the systems the West needs to compete on the modern battlefield and deter the adversaries of democracy. We’re hiring engineers, operators, and builders who want to move fast, take on extreme ownership, and get capability into the hands of warfighters in months, not years.
What you will be doing
The IT Analyst II will play a key role on the team that keeps our defense technology company running. You'll work alongside other IT professionals as part of our front-line support team — troubleshooting technical issues, supporting identity and access management, helping run new hire onboarding, managing IT assets, and administering our Microsoft 365 environment. You'll operate in a fast-paced, compliance-driven setting where your contributions directly impact every employee's ability to do their job. If you take pride in excellent IT support, clear communication, and staying ahead of problems, this is for you.
Responsibilities

- Manage user accounts and access permissions across business systems, including provisioning, deprovisioning, and participating in periodic access audits
- Source, order, track, and maintain IT assets (laptops, monitors, peripherals) with accurate inventory records, anticipating needs based on company growth and onboarding plans
- Provision new user accounts, configure laptops, install required software, and ensure all hardware is ready on day one — coordinate with HR and Facilities to streamline onboarding
- Administer and support Microsoft 365 suite (Entra ID, SharePoint, Outlook, Intune, Teams) and additional collaboration tools like Slack and Notion
- Support company AV systems for conference rooms and shared spaces
- Follow existing technical procedures precisely and create or update documentation and knowledge base articles as needed
You should have the following
- 3-5 years of proven experience in IT support in a fast-paced environment, with demonstrated ability to manage a wide range of technical issues and user needs
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem including Entra ID, SharePoint, Outlook, Intune, and Teams — this will be a large part of your day-to-day work
- Hands-on experience supporting both Windows and macOS environments
- Experience with identity and access management tools such as Azure AD/Entra ID, Okta, or equivalent
- Experience with endpoint management platforms such as Microsoft Intune or Apple Business Manager (ABM)
- Proficiency in IT asset management — sourcing, tracking, inventory, and lifecycle management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write clear, concise documentation and keep users informed throughout the support process
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and meet SLA commitments
- Comfortable operating in a dynamic, evolving IT landscape where priorities shift and calm under pressure is essential
Nice to have
- Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST 800-171 and CMMC
- Experience supporting IT in a defense technology, aerospace, or other compliance-driven environment
- Experience with SaaS administration (Slack, Notion, or similar collaboration platforms)
