What is the scope of this role?

Netcracker Technology is looking to hire a Senior BSS Solution Architect, with experience in the  full life-cycle Delivery for Telco solutions. This position will assume involvement into solution delivery activities as well as Pre-Sales. The role will help support the Sales team on new or existing customers in all phases in the sales process and will act as OSS/BSS SME (Subject Matter Expert) representing Netcracker in front of our customers.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in all phases of the sales and delivery process of BSS Solutions
  • Prepare technical part of response to RFPs and RFIs
  • Work with multiple Account Executives to support opportunity qualification process
  • Direct presentations to prospective customers and partners using knowledge of industry trends and standards and common industry challenges coupled with NetCracker solution knowledge
  • Develop product demonstrations, including specification, testing, and delivery
  • Drive the process of delivering high-quality product and architecture presentations and demonstrations
  • Demonstrate advanced product concepts
  • Assist account teams in ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Represent NetCracker as a general industry Subject Matter Expert

Required Experience:

    • Experience delivering solutions to a Telco Provider
    • 10 + years working at a Telco or Systems Integrator vendor with strong technical /architectural knowledge on BSS solutions. 
    • Demonstrated knowledge of major industry standards: eTOM, SID, TAM, ITIL, OSS/j, MTOSI, etc
    • Demonstrated knowledge of Communications Service Provider business in Retail and B2B domains, wireless and wireline services
    • Demonstrated knowledge in all major BSS functional areas: Channels, Customer Care, CPQ, Product Catalog, Fulfillment, Billing, OCS
    • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, as well as strong strategic and analytical skills
    • Ability to work as part of a team to solve complex technical problems and work with accounts in complex environments
    • Business-like presence and ability to interact professionally with customers at all organization levels
    • Well-developed knowledge and understanding of the global telecommunications marketplace 
    • Nice to have: demonstrated knowledge of one or more major local, access, or backbone network communications technologies, including TDM/PDH, SONET/SDH, PSTN/Voice, Dialup/DSL/Dedicated IP, Backbone IP, MPLS, IP VPN, FR/ATM, DWDM, etc.
    • Nice to have: IT and/or software development experience in one or more of the following areas: Cloud solutions, DevOps, customer facing application, large-scale, mission-critical applications, network management systems, general large-scale system architecture, large-scale databases
    • Fluent in English and available to work from our Brazil office in hybrid mode
    • This is not a remote work opportunity

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
