About the role
We are seeking a Senior OSS Business Analyst with strong expertise in the Telecom OSS domain, particularly in Service Fulfillment and Service Activation for B2B and B2C services. In this role, you will lead a team of business analysts and act as a customer-facing expert, driving the identification of solution and product requirements throughout the analysis, design, implementation, training, and testing phases of projects.
Role & Responsibilites
- Identify, collect, clarify, and organize functional requirements for new solution features and change requests
- Develop system use cases and information models for product, service, and resource management domains within OSS/BSS products
- Design solution components, including object models, flows, user interfaces, and integration interfaces
- Configure products to meet specific customer requirements and ensure proper solution delivery
- Validate customer business needs and drive improvements in existing products and solutions
- Capture and share best practices to support pre-sales activities and solution positioning
- Contribute across the delivery lifecycle, participating in analysis, design, prototyping, proof-of-concept, acceptance, and implementation projects
- Perform gap analysis and define new user scenarios for out-of-the-box (OOB) solutions in domains such as: Network planning, design, and build-out, Network maintenance, upgrade, and decommissioning, Service order management and service orchestration, Network operations and maintenance
- Conducting market and technology research in the telecommunications industry, learning standards in OSS/BSS, Network Automation and Orchestration
- Participate in the development of new modules and components
Required Experience
- In OSS fulfillment (Order Management, Orchestraion) and assurance processes for services and resources for one or several of the following networks: IP, Carrier Ethernet, SD-WAN, GPON
- Understanding of OSS/BSS frameworks and telecom standards: TMF, ETSI, ITU, 3GPP, IETF, MEF, ONAP
- Understanding of network management protocols and languages: YANG, REST, gRPC, gNMI, NETCONF, REST, SNMP, CLI
- Knowledge of UML or other object modeling notations and practical use of data modeling tools
- Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in senior network engineering or analytical roles
- Understanding of software development lifecycles methodology (RUP, Agile, etc)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent skills in object-oriented design OOD (generalization, classification, decomposition, correlation, unification, decision tables)
- Experience in software product development and implementation (telecommunications domain preferred)
- Understanding of network architecture and functionality of core/transport, access, and overlay/virtualization networks
- Fluent English writing and communication skills
- Availability to work from the office; Hybrid mode from either Sao Paulo or Campinas office
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Maths, Physics or related field
