About the role

We are looking a Senior OSS Business Analyst with strong knowledge of Telecom OSS domain, with deep expertise in Service Fulfilment and Service Activation for B2B and B2C, Fixed Network access .You will take a lead team of business analysts, play customer-facing role within the Professional Services Organization, identifying solution and product needs during the requirements gathering, design, implementation, training, and testing phases of the project. We offer interesting work at big OSS/BSS projects implementation in North America region with great opportunities to grow as professional and manager.

Role & Responsabilities

• Identifying, Collecting, Clarifying and Organizing Functional Requirements for new Product and Solution Features and Change Requests
• Development of Use Cases, Information Model and Operation Process Specification for Service, Network and Resource Management Domain of OSS – Resource Inventory, Service Activation, Design and Planning
• Design of object model, user interface, data processing algorithms, integration interfaces, etc.;
• Participating in solution implementation based OOB product capabilities
• OSS Product Configuration according to customer’s requirements
• Participating in the analysis, design and acceptance stages on prototype, proof-of-concept, product and implementation projects
• Gap analysis and New User Scenarios Creation for OOB Solutions (Blueprint preparation) in the area of Cell Site Rollout, RAN and MBH Inventory, GPON/FTTX Service Fulfilment and Service Activation for B2B and B2C, Network Automation of Fixed Access and IP/MPLS/SR Backbone
• Customer’s business needs verification and existing Products and Solutions Improvements
• Conducting market and technology researches in the telecommunications industry, learning standards in OSS/BSS, Network Automation and Orchestration
• Participating in new NetCracker modules and components development

Rquired Experience

• Ability to create clear and comprehensive Network Data Model and API Design
• Maintain Partner Facing API Interface (OpenAPI, Swaggers)
• Design Pattern understanding
• Strong/Clear communication to Customers/Architects
• Excellent skills in object-oriented design (generalization, classification, decomposition, correlation, unification, decision tables)
• University technical degree(maths, physics, IT, telecommunications, programming, engineering)
• Experience in development and implementation of solution (preferably for Telco mobile service fulfilment)
• Understanding or hands on experience on Service Catalog, Service Order Management would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of Cell Site and Network Rollout, Internet Access and fixed line provisioning/activation processes is mandatory, NOC/SOC processes understanding is nice to have, Network Discovery and Inventory implementation experience are highly appreciated
• Understanding of network architecture, functionality and one or several processes from the following  - design, deployment, configuration, maintenance, provisioning and inventory processes for Fixed Access (GPON, HFC, FTTx) or IP/MPLS/BGP Networks, Packet Optical Network, Radio access network (LTE and 5G), Outside Plant, Microwave
• Knowledge of UML or other object modeling language (for example YANG) and experience in using of data modeling tools; knowledge in field of rational data bases
• Understanding of OSS/BSS and telco standards - TMF, ETSI, ITU, 3GPP, IETF, MEF, ONAP
• Understanding of one of the following protocols nice to have: SNMP, CLI, FTP/SFTP, REST, OpenFlow, NETCONF
• Experience in telecom domain specific programing – YANG, Python (optional, recommended)
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (RUP, Agile, etc)
• Experience in network engineering or analytical positions from 7 years
• Fluent English
• Availability to work from office ( Hybrid mode)

 Education  

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Maths,  or related field
