About the role
The Sales Director- LATAM is part of the global Overlay Sales and Solution Support team, responsible for driving sales in the region and building a robust pipeline for the OSS/BSS Business
Rol & Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy Definition
- Business Development Planning
- Account Reviews and opportunity plan generation
- Attend and drive Sales meetings and opportunity qualification assessments
- Management, Executive and C-Level Meetings
- Sales proposal inputs and reviews (RFx and Direct Bids)
- Commercial – review and input for pricing (license & services), terms & conditions/contracts
- Participate in deal negotiations
- Industry event involvement (TMF, SDN World Congress, etc.) and customer engagement
- Extensive travel required to work with Customers
- Existing relationships and history of working with ICT Carriers in the region
General customer interaction levels expected:
- VP of Business Unit
- VP of Marketing
- GM of Operational Companies
- CMO, CSO, CIO, CTO
- IT VPs & Directors
- Network and Product VP’s & Directors
Required Experience
- Business consulting
- Telecommunications Industry
- Wireline, wireless, cable operators
- Network Technologies (LTE, 3G, IP, Optical, xDSL, etc.)
- Telco business processes related to BSS and OSS operations
- Solution Selling (selling complex solutions with high prices)
- Sales proposal generation
- Ability to work effectively and communicate across departments, teams, and cultures
- Ability to effectively communicate to customer executives
- Ability to travel extensively, up to 80-90%
