Position Summary:
Reporting to Netcracker’s Director of Tax and Treasury, this individual is responsible for providing a full range of tax accounting support for the business units.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and/or review income tax and informational returns
- Prepare and/or review the tax provision process, including FAS 109, FIN 48, etc.
- Conduct tax research and analysis to support strategic tax planning initiatives
- Book monthly accruals in accordance with ASC 740
- Calculate and prepare estimated tax payments
- Maintain knowledge of tax laws
- Develop and maintain relationships within the tax department and finance organization
- Assist with the preparation of special projects, legislative proposals, modeling, and other ad hoc requests
- Assist Director of Tax and Treasury with Treasury matters
- Manage third-party service providers to ensure accurate and timely preparation of federal, international, and state income tax returns.
- Assist with the indirect tax compliance (e.g. VAT, Employment, Sales & Use).
Education & Professional Certifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Accounting
- CPA preferred
- MS Taxation preferred
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 3 years either in a large CPA firm and/or in the tax department of a global corporation.
- International tax experience required.
- Knowledge of tax accounting required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects.
