
Investment Analyst
Position Summary

Eton Advisors is looking for an Investment Analyst to compile, organize, and interpret investment data and research in support of investment decision-making, implementation, portfolio reporting, and client communications.
It is expected that the candidate pass the Series 65 exam within twelve months of employment and pursue and obtain his/her CFA designation within three years.
This is a full-time in-person position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Primary Responsibilities
The Investment Analyst will support the investment team across the following functions and processes:
- Execute and support a range of investment- and client-related activities, including:
- Researching and responding to client questions on existing and prospective investments
- Preparing materials for client and prospective client meetings
- Coordinating preparation and follow-up for quarterly Investment Committee meetings
- Supporting quarterly reporting and performance deliverables
- Assisting with portfolio trading and rebalancing activities
- Prepare portfolio analyses, modeling, and recommendations for review with senior investment team members.
- Support ongoing manager due diligence for public investments and partner with senior investment team members on due diligence for private investments; maintain due diligence templates and records
- Manage and execute the Goals-Based Analysis process in partnership with senior investment team members.
- Serve as Secretary of the Investment Committee and, upon completion of the CFA designation, become a voting member.
- Interact directly with clients as a representative of the investment team, as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree; relevant financial experience required
- 2+ years of industry experience
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated commitment to service excellence and the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and business ethics
- Ability to work in a highly confidential, low-profile environment
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of accounting processes, procedures, and internal controls
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access)
This position is a non-exempt position. The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $70,000-$80,000 base salary compensation range. Actual base pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant’s skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k).
