
Account Associate

We are seeking an Account Associate to join our collaborative team in which you will be responsible for performing the accounting and analysis functions for our clients, preparing and analyzing financial reports, and maintain and reconcile ledger accounts.
This is a remote position but will still be required to work Eastern Standard hours.
Primary Responsibilities:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Record cash receipts, credit card statements, invoices and disbursements; performs bank and brokerage reconciliations timely, records journal entries
- Manage entry and execution of accounts payable and receivable process daily, including maintaining all vendor and client information.
- Record weekly, monthly, and annual payroll expenses
- Take ownership of bill pay cycle by monitoring bill pay and vendor reports; assist in maintaining support schedules and work papers
- Prepare and review vendor reports; collect, process and associate invoices, cash and receipts
- Participates in meetings, group discussions and/or conference calls
- Share information with team members on a regular basis
- Assist in preparation of deliverables to support client relationships
- Project management; participate in information collection
Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration
- Business management or family office a plus
- Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable experience a plus.
- Strong computer aptitude, including expertise with Microsoft Excel, Quickbooks Desktop / Quickbooks Online, and Tax software (if applicable)
- Understanding of basic accounting concepts, including debits, credits, bank reconciliations, chart of accounts and general ledger accounts
- Analytical skills with particular attention to detail
- Strong advocate of continuous improvement; Takes ownership of assignments, seeks to make improvements where possible in client services and best practices
- Self-starter who maintains a positive attitude and loves a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Takes and follows directions well
- Shows respect for work and contributions of others
- Strong organization, oral and written communication skills
This position is an non-exempt position. The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $65,000-$90,000 base salary compensation range. Actual base pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant’s skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k).
