Accounting Intern (Fall 2026) (Part-Time)

Altman, Greenfield & Selvaggi is a fast-growing, boutique Accounting Firm specializing in Business Management for entertainment clients, located in the heart of Union Square. We are currently seeking an Accounting Intern for the New York City office location. This role requires a high energy individual with strong interpersonal skills. Primary Responsibilities:

As an Accounting Intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside professionals in the Firm. You will have hands-on exposure to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, Payroll, Bank Reconciliations, and Multi-State Individual and Corporate tax returns.

Qualifications:

• Current student pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting or Taxation
• Ability to work and commute out of AGS' NYC office; relocation assistance is not provided.
• Candidates must have permanent authorization to work in the U.S.
• Available to work a minimum of 3 full workdays (Mondays - Fridays) in the office from September 2026 through December 2026
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Motivated, self-starter
• Organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to multi-task and prioritize
• Terrific communication skills, both verbal and written
• Able to work in a team environment, as well as individually

This position is a non-exempt position. The base pay for this role is $20/hr. Actual base pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant’s skill set. Please note that the job title is subject to change based on the selected candidate’s experience and education.
