Senior Full Stack Engineer

You are an experienced full-stack developer and will play a key role on our web team developing features for our cloud portal and other projects. You will be part of a small dev team on a larger, collaborative cloud web team. The goal of the web team is to improve and expand our cloud portal experience by bringing over existing features from our native clients as well as introducing new/unique functionality through the web client. Providing a great cloud experience is key and we want to directly address the needs and feedback from our users in this area. You will work with design, product, and other tech teams and be directly involved with creating and improving the features, functionality, and experience for all our users.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Creating, supporting and developing a set of applications, such as
    • Cloud Portal;
    • License management portal;
    • Various management, automation, and content management tools for partners;
    • Applications/integrations web store for the company's core product;
    • Developer console/knowledge base for third-party developers;
    • Internal tools for the team;
  • Creating architecture and planning implementation for front-end and back-end features
  • Creating and modifying front-end web interfaces for Nx products based on user requirements
  • Working closely with designers and product teams to understand requirements and give/receive direct feedback
  • Developing and maintaining back-end services and APIs to support front-end features
  • Creating and modifying internal company web tools based on team requirements

What we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years of professional web development
  • Bachelor degree in the STEM field
  • Expert working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, and web browser standards and practices.
  • Understanding of UI software design patterns (MVC/MVVP)
  • Hands-on experience with Javascript frameworks like Angular, React or equivalent.
  • Proficient in Python, Django, and Django Rest Framework, or with proficiency in backend technologies like Node.js, PHP, or Ruby on Rails
  • Understanding of back-end security best practices
  • Hands-on experience with SQL
  • Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms

Will be a plus:

  • Advanced experience in Angular
  • Advanced experience in Python and Django
  • Experience working with Git, Gitlab, Docker, and Linux in general

Hybrid or Remote Preferences

The position is ideally a hybrid role and the office is located in Walnut Creek, CA. We will also consider candidates in the Los Angeles Metropolitan area and the office is located in Burbank, CA. or in Portland, Oregon

Base pay range

$150,000 - $300,000 USD
