Position Overview: The GTM / Integration Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining custom integrations between our products and third-party systems, including popular CRMs, ERPs, and accounting platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, QuickBooks, Zero, and NetSuite. In addition to a strong background in software development (Node.js, Python, etc.) and a deep understanding of APIs and system architecture, the ideal candidate will possess the ability to collaborate with business development, finance, and sales teams. 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Integration Development: Design, develop, and maintain custom integrations between Network Optix products and third-party systems to enhance functionality and user experience.

  • API Management: Utilize and manage APIs to ensure seamless communication between systems, enabling efficient data exchange and process automation.

  • System Architecture: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable system architectures that support integration efforts and align with business objectives.

  • Customer-Facing Engagement: Serve as a technical liaison to clients and partners, effectively communicating integration capabilities and business value. Provide demonstrations, technical training, and ongoing support to customers, ensuring solutions meet their operational and strategic needs.

  • Technical Training: Provide technical training and support to internal teams and clients, ensuring a thorough understanding of integration functionalities and best practices.

  • Tool Integration and Management: Oversee the integration and management of various tools within the GTM tech stack, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with company goals. 

  • Data-Driven Strategy: Develop analytics frameworks to generate actionable insights, optimize strategies, and measure outcomes related to integration performance and impact.

  • Technical Support: Provide ongoing technical support by addressing integration challenges, troubleshooting issues, updating code to accommodate end-system schema changes, and ensuring consistent and reliable system performance.

What we’re looking for:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred. 

  • Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Node.js, Python, C# and other relevant programming languages. Experience with modern GTM tech stacks, including CRMs, Marketing Automation Platforms (MAPs), APIs, data enrichment platforms, and AI tools. Experience with systems such as HubSpot, Salesforce, QuickBooks, Zero, NetSuite, are required. 

  • Business Acumen: Experience working with business development, finance, and sales teams. Ability to understand broader market and revenue goals, and translate them into technical integration strategies. 

  • Software Development Experience: Demonstrated history of software development with a robust portfolio showcasing previous projects and integrations.

  • API and System Architecture Knowledge: Strong understanding of APIs, system architecture, automation tools, and data modeling.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities with a track record of designing scalable processes that meet ambitious growth targets.

  • Collaboration Skills: Proven experience in cross-functional collaboration, with the ability to work effectively with finance, R&D, product, and operations teams to build impactful solutions.

  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a high-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Business Operations Insight: Solid grasp of core business operations and interdepartmental dynamic. In-depth understanding of transactional flows between customers, sales teams, accounting, and finance departments.

  • Training Curriculum: Ability to design, prepare, and deliver comprehensive educational sessions, workshops, or training materials on the relevant technology stack, ensuring all team members and stakeholders can effectively understand and leverage these tools in their workflows.

Hybrid or Remote

The position is ideally a hybrid role and the office is located in Walnut Creek, CA. We will also consider candidates in Burbank, CA and Portland, OR. We will also consider full remote.

 

Base pay range

$120,000 - $160,000 USD
