About the Role

As a Chapter Coordinator, you’ll serve as part of the local ambassador team of Fora in your market. You’ll lead a vibrant community of advisors, create opportunities for connection and learning, and act as a trusted partner liaison. While you’ll have significant autonomy, you’ll also collaborate closely with HQ to ensure alignment with Fora’s values and strategic goals.

This role is dedicated exclusively to supporting advisors who have recently joined the Fora Mexico City Chapter. At Fora, our mission is to empower the next generation of travel entrepreneurs and lower the barriers to entry into the industry. Our sense of community is a huge part of what makes Fora so special - and you’ll play a crucial role in making advisors feel supported and a sense of belonging to the local community. Your mandate is to make them feel supported, to familiarize them with Fora, expedite their training and certification, and be a role model for these advisors

This is a part-time, paid role designed for advisors who are passionate about building community, growing their own business, and shaping Fora’s culture on the ground. The role includes a monthly compensation of $2,000 USD.

What You’ll Do

  •  Community Building & Engagement
    • Welcome and integrate new advisors into the Chapter
    • Host monthly community events and foster a sense of belonging
    • Directly welcome and extend attention to “fast starters” 
  • Advisor Training 
    • Encourage advisor certification and training for new members
    • Assist HQ with hosting live trainings 
  • Community Management
    • Answer and track new–member questions and inquiries on Whatsapp, guiding them to the right resources
    • Surface local insights and feedback to HQ
  • Leadership & Strategy
    • Champion Fora’s culture of inclusivity, innovation, and support
    • Work independently while collaborating with HQ and other Chapter Leaders
    • Shape the identity and growth of your local Chapter

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a current certified or above Fora Advisor who brings demonstrated leadership, initiative, and a strong commitment to community involvement. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and communication skills in both English and Spanish. They should be able to dedicate approximately 40 hours per month to this role. Experience hosting events, managing relationships, or mentoring peers is a plus.

Compensation

WORK AUTHORIZATION

Authorization to work in the United States is required for full-time roles based in our New York City office. Fora is unable to sponsor or assist with U.S. work authorization. Roles based outside of the United States are not subject to this requirement.
