SCOPE OF ROLE

The AVP of Market Operations is responsible for the overall region/market provider and support staff utilization and productivity for Premier Medical, a part of NeueHealth. This includes oversight of the region’s clinical and non-clinical staff to ensure that Premier Medical abides by one of its stated visions, achieving Clinical Excellence and providing simple and affordable care everywhere. As such, the AVP of Market Operations is the owner of the competence, quality, and effectiveness of the service delivery model. The AVP is responsible for the execution of Premier Medical's primary care model, which includes visit schedules and productivity measures. This role will report directly to the Executive Vice President for Consumer Care.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for overall region/market provider and support staff Utilization and Productivity. Partner and collaborate closely with Premier Medical's groups to establish and achieve metrics and measures, delivering successfully against those goals.
  • Assists the Clinic Managers and Medical Directors on operations and clinical quality, compliance integration, and process improvement.
  • Owns field compliance integration (best practices, QA, SOPs, Revenue and Quality Management initiatives, etc.).
  • Works collaboratively with key corporate and field leaders toward identification of opportunities for improvement, trend analysis, education that result in the development of appropriate action plans for problem resolution.
  • Responsible for operations competence, quality, and effectiveness of the service delivery model, leads Inter-Disciplinary Team (IDT) efforts, serves as a mentor, coach, and trainer for team leaders.
  • Responsible for team member talent acquisition to ensure the identification and selection of the highest quality staff for Premier Medical's sufficient coverage for existing and projected patient needs.
  • Administers ride-along, preceptorship, development through role playing and scenario reviews.
  • Supports the market staff with business development and provider relations as needed.
  • P&L responsibility for the market.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

  • At least 5 years of experience successfully managing a health service program that employs clinicians, operations managers and operates a medical practice, clinic, home health agency, or care coordination program.
  • Travels as needed to support assigned markets and teams.
  • Successful experience in the operations of primary care clinics, urgent care centers.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or healthcare management preferred, will accept experience level in lieu of education.

This includes the ability to partner with corporate and field leaders toward identification of opportunities for improvement, trend analysis, education that result in the development of appropriate action plans for problem resolution.
  • Has a strong alignment with the Premier Medical mission, showing compassion for Premier Medical's patients, providers, and clinicians and support staff. Embraces the opportunity to play a key role in the changing health care landscape including complex care everywhere.
  • Works quickly and effectively. Goes the extra mile in a rapidly changing environment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
