Vice President, Biometrics

The Vice President, Biometrics builds and oversees the Biometrics function which encompasses biostatistics, statistical programming, and clinical data management.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure that the drug development pathway leads to regulatory approval
- Develop and maintain a strong collaboration between the company’s Biometrics function and other functions
- Contribute cross-functionally to design clinical trials that optimize the target product profile and leverage proprietary knowledge
- Lead the statistical portion of clinical development plans, clinical protocols, regulatory documents, publications, internal and external meetings and presentations, from IND to global registrations, and beyond
- Contribute beyond role to overall clinical development strategy, key documents, and company direction and organization
- Accountable for development, implementation and execution of statistical analysis plans that support clinical development plans and clinical protocols, and assure statistical integrity, adequacy and accuracy
- Accountable for the consistency and accuracy of data management and statistical programming deliverables, including derived data definition, analysis file structure, analysis methodologies, and analysis results
- Establish best practices and develop standard operating procedures
- Identify innovative approaches to consider for the development of existing and future programs
- Collaborate to develop and plan innovative strategies for life cycle product management
- Open-minded to innovation and leveraging advances in biometric science to further the aim and objectives of the organization
Qualifications:
- MS or higher Biostatistics degree
- Excellent leadership and effective communication skills
- A minimum of 15 years of Biotech/Pharmaceutical industry experience
- A minimum of 5 years of experience leading biometrics functions
- Experience in early phase drug development
- Experience in psychiatric/neurological drug development studies
- Experience with NDA/MAA submissions
- Experience interacting with health authorities
- Proven experience managing CROs

The salary range posted describes the minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Actual salary may vary based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Base Salary Range:$320,967-$340,167
