
Supervisor (Workshop + Ground Operations)

The Role
Our Supervisor (Workshop & Ground Operations) is the hands-on leader for our Ground Operations team, monitoring our Drivers and Warehouse Technicians. The Primary KPIs for the Warehouse Operations component relate to the productivity of the warehouse technicians (RTG/hour) and inventory accuracy levels. Primary KPIs for the Ground Operations component relate to the availability of our Neuron e-scooters and the ideal distribution of scooters in the city (rebalancing). The ideal candidate has prior mechanical experience, is a team leader and is highly motivated to make Neuron a resounding success, both locally and nationally. Reporting into the Operations Manager, the Supervisor may also have the opportunity to spearhead the growth and proactively contribute to other local or non-local launch initiatives. Ideally looking for someone to work Tuesday - Saturday, 7am - 3pm OR 8am - 4pm.
What you’ll do:
- Service and repair e-scooters
- Develop and execute Neuron's Warehouse Management strategy
- Responsible for Operations and Workshop KPIs
- Train new Warehouse Technicians and Operations team members including refresher training as needed.
- Planning for and conducting monthly (or as required) stocktakes.
- Oversee Operations team performance to ensure timely deployment, collection, city availability and quality control of e-scooters in alignment with consumer demand.
- Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures, including basic maintenance and consistent service delivery across all operational touch points
- Perform basic administrative tasks, such as shift scheduling and manpower deployment planning as needed.
- Represent Neuron as a positive brand ambassador.
- From time to time, assist other operational cities in AU in carrying out the above duties
What you'll need:
- A valid Open Class Driver Licence
- A suitable personal smart phone is required (generally an Apple or Android device from 2018 or newer)
- Prior mechanical experience with the ability to service and repair e-scooters, including comfort with lifting, carrying and manoeuvring 26-28kg as needed.
- Prior experience in warehouse operations & stock planning would be advantageous, particularly in the mobility, transit or supply-chain space.
- A hands-on approach to leadership - our Supervisor will need to be comfortable managing “in the field” alongside their team members.
- Self-starter who radiates positivity and possesses a “can-do” attitude
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a complex operational environment
- Strong communication and people skills.
- Ability to multi-task and keep up with a dynamic, fast-paced start-up.
- A keen curiosity in shared mobility and a growth mindset.
