WHAT YOU'LL DO 

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer with deep expertise in data engineering, analytics, and digital marketing platforms. In this role, you’ll take ownership of the architecture, development, and optimization of the LIFT Digital Marketing Analytics Platform, helping drive scalable, reliable, and insight-driven data solutions for our clients.

This is a fully remote role open to candidates based anywhere in India, with an expectation of overlap with EST working hours.

• Build and Scale Data Infrastructure
  Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and cloud-based infrastructure that power our internal analytics platform. Ensure data systems are reliable, efficient, and built to support growing client needs.
  
  
• Drive AI-Powered Innovation
  Contribute to the development of AI-driven capabilities within our platform, including integrations with tools like Claude. Help shape how we leverage AI to enhance data workflows, automation, and insights.
  
  
• Own Data Architecture and Quality
  Define and uphold best practices for data modeling, governance, and system design. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and scalability across multiple marketing data sources.
  
  
• Develop Client-Facing Solutions
  Support the evolution of our analytics platform by building features, improving performance, and delivering intuitive data experiences for internal teams and clients.
  
  
• Turn Data into Insight
  Partner with cross-functional teams to translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights. Support reporting and analytics efforts that drive smarter marketing decisions.
  
  
• Collaborate and Lead
  Work closely with engineers, analysts, and client teams to bring solutions to life. Provide guidance to junior team members and contribute to a strong technical culture grounded in best practices.

WHAT YOU BRING

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a related field
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL within production environments
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage) and/or AWS
• Experience architecting, building, and maintaining scalable, production-grade data pipelines and cloud infrastructure
• Familiarity with AI/LLM systems and integrations (e.g., Claude, OpenAI, tool calling, or similar technologies)
• Experience integrating APIs and working with complex, multi-source datasets
• Strong understanding of data quality, scalability, performance optimization, and engineering best practices
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex datasets into actionable insights
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced, collaborative environments
• A proactive, ownership-driven mindset with the ability to operate independently and drive initiatives forward
• Interest in emerging AI technologies and how they can enhance automation, workflows, and insight generation
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior engineers and contributing to a collaborative, low-ego team culture is a plus

The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidate's qualifications and experience uniquely.
