We currently have a need for a Senior Network Security Engineer to assist with a large client’s migration from its current NAC Solution to Forescout.    The ideal candidate will have 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience in Networking, Network Security, and overseeing strategic Technology Programs at Enterprise Clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, administer, and document Network Access solutions
  • Perform/review technical security assessments of computing environments for non-compliance
  • Validate and verify network security requirements and collaborate on security architecture
  • Assess and mitigate system security threats/risks throughout the program life cycle
  • Contribute to security planning, assessment, risk analysis, risk management, certification and awareness activities for system and networking operations
  • Engineering experience designing and deploying large scale networks
  • Insure that notification is sent to all Stakeholders for required changes/upgrades
  • Represent the changes at the weekly change review meetings and update network diagrams and all other applicable documents.
  • Develop design and system configuration based on technical requirements
  • Recommend enhancements/changes to system design as appropriate

 

Skills required:

  • Bachelor's degree in related technical/business areas or equivalent work experience
  • At least 5 years’ experience designing, deploying, configuring, and administering Security solutions
  • Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) best practices, procedures, and software solutions; such as single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, privileged access management, role-based access control, and identity lifecycle toolsets.
  • Knowledge of Palo Alto, Crowdstrike, Tenable, Forescout, Zscaler, F5, Prisma
  • Experience securing a large inter network establishing and enforcing policies and monitoring access.
  • Experience working in large enterprise networks is desired. The ability to work under pressure and interface with senior management will be key to these roles.

Physical Demands:

 

  • Regular use of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.
  • Regular, repetitive movements such as typing, mouse movements, and scrolling. Ability to hear and understand spoken communications, both in person and via remote communication tools (e.g., phone, video conferencing).
  • Ability to see and read computer screens and printed documents, as well as adjust focus. This includes prolonged periods of looking at a computer screen.

Must be vaccinated for influenza annually and able to work onsite in NYC, position pays a salary range of $140k to $160k annually.
