We currently have a need for an Oracle Applications Support Specialist supporting a Global Network Infrastructure environment. The ideal candidate will have Oracle GoldenGate experience.  Global Financial Services, Healthcare or Pharmaceutical experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical and functional support for Oracle applications, including troubleshooting and resolving complex issues
  • Manage and optimize Oracle GoldenGate implementations for real-time data replication and integration
  • Monitor system performance and ensure smooth operation of Oracle applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system updates and enhancements
  • Develop and maintain documentation for Oracle applications and GoldenGate configurations
  • Participate in on-call rotation for critical support issues

 

Skills required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience supporting Oracle applications in an enterprise environment
  • Proven experience with Oracle GoldenGate for data replication and integration
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Database, and PL/SQL
  • Familiarity with Unix/Linux operating systems and shell scripting
  • Experience with ITIL processes and best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional)
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud applications
  • Knowledge of database performance tuning and optimization
  • Familiarity with Oracle Fusion Middleware products

 

Physical Demands: 

  • Regular use of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.
  • Regular, repetitive movements such as typing, mouse movements, and scrolling. Ability to hear and understand spoken communications, both in person and via remote communication tools (e.g., phone, video conferencing).
  • Ability to see and read computer screens and printed documents, as well as adjust focus. This includes prolonged periods of looking at a computer screen.
