Behind Every Great Sales Team Is You – Step into the Spotlight as a Sales Support Specialist
This is an onsite full-time role based in our Brisbane office, 38-hours per week.

At New Era Technology, you’ll be part of a dynamic Sales Support Specialist team that supports a diverse range of clients and sales operations. This role offers the opportunity to:
- Strengthen your sales operations expertise – Support the sales team with quoting, order processing, license renewals, and warranty claims while maintaining accurate records in ConnectWise.
- Build your coordination and communication skills – Liaise with suppliers, manage internal stock levels, and assist in preparing proposals, tenders, and presentations.
- Gain hands-on experience with tools and processes – Track agreements, monitor stock movement, and coordinate small product sales and contract renewals.
- Be part of a collaborative, global team – Work closely with the APAC Sales Support Specialist team and contribute to regional campaigns, events, and mail-outs.

What is the role
The following includes but may not be limited to the responsibilities of the Sales Support Specialist:
- Providing sales support to the sales team
- Maintaining maintenance and annuities
- Maintaining ConnectWise to track agreement and license renewals
- Managing internal stock levels
- Providing assistance with warranty claims and information
- Coordinating small contract and license renewals and small product sales including quoting and associated paperwork
- Quoting, ordering, receipting and delivery of product
- Assisting in the preparation of proposals, presentations, tenders and other correspondence as required
- Coordinating sales events, campaigns, mail outs and functions
- Liaising with suppliers to track order and delivery and follow up on back-order items
- Maintaining and monitoring all stock movement
- Maintaining positive relationships with suppliers
- Stocktaking when required
- Escalating any pricing or timing issues to relevant Account Manager
- Assisting the sales team with the maintenance of ConnectWise including developing contacts, lists and sales activity
- Assisting in the preparation of proposals, presentations, tenders and other correspondence
- Maintain knowledge of latest and up to date technologies
- Other related duties as required
Who we are looking for
Successful candidates must have:
- Education & Certifications:
- Tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Sales, IT, or a related field is desirable
- Relevant vendor sales certifications are an advantage
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an administrative or sales support role
- Previous experience in a consultative, client-focused environment
- Broad knowledge of IT infrastructure and related technologies
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience with CRM systems (ConnectWise preferred)
- Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail
- Core Competencies:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and initiative
- Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and committed to continuous learning

- High level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail
