Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Security Engineer to support a large information security program in the software services industry with deep knowledge of CrowdStrike Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM): Falcon Spotlight, Falcon Discover for Cloud, Falcon Horizon, Falcon Identity, and Falcon Adaptive Shield.

• Key Responsibilities
  • Design future state CrowdStrike CSPM architecture. Future-proof control design for future and current state CrowdStrike capabilities deployments: Overwatch managed detection and response, Falcon Identity Protection, Falcon Horizon external attack surface management, Falcon Intelligence Recon and Falcon Adaptive Shield SaaS security posture management
  • Create, build and document cross-platform CrowdStrike CSPM cloud service provider automation including for primary cloud service providers MS Azure and AWS. And for smaller customer deployment footprint cloud services providers GCP, OCI and Alibaba
  • Identify and document control design (solution architecture) for tools rationalization for overlapping capabilities in the environment for data security posture management and application security posture management in cloud service providers.
  • Build and document maintenance for CrowdStrike cloud security posture management automation
  • Build and document maintenance for CrowdStrike cloud security build automation for CI/CD pipelines
  • Build, troubleshoot and maintain cloud log sources for control effectiveness reporting
  • Enhance governance of cloud security controls through cloud log collection and reporting
  • Build and enhance security metrics for dashboarding and reporting on cloud security posture management

• Required Qualifications
  • 3-5+ years of cyber and information security engineering experience with a focus on MS Azure and AWS cloud service platforms control automation
  • 3-5+ years of significant experience in CrowdStrike CSPM (Falcon Spotlight, Falcon Discover for Cloud, Falcon Horizon, Falcon Identity, and Falcon Adaptive Shield) cloud provider infrastructure build automation
  • 2 – 3+ years of experience creating CrowdStrike CSPM solution and deployment architecture.
  • Skilled in extracting cloud configuration compliance metrics and automation of reporting and dashboards for CrowdStrike CSPM
  • Must be able to create and maintain documentation on the implementation and operational/maintenance processes
  • Experience using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager and other equivalent multi-cloud vendor automation tools (e.g., Chef, etc.)
  • Python or equivalent IT security infrastructure scripting expertise
  • Skilled in extracting configuration compliance metrics and automation of reporting and dashboards
  • Must be able to create and maintain documentation on the implementation and operational/maintenance processes
  • Expertise in security governance control design and monitoring
  • Must be able to identify applicable best practices, standards and document the implementation
  • Requires metric reporting and automation skills as well as procedures for continued operation/maintenance
  • Experience with designing log forwarding, consolidation of log sources
  • Ability to explain and write technical details to a non-technical audience and vice versa
  • Ability to work autonomously and under pressure
