What is the role 

As a Project Manager, you will be leading and overseeing multiple projects across the organization, ensuring successful delivery within defined parameters of functionality, quality, cost, and timeline. This full-time position (38 hours per week) is based in our Sydney office and operates within a hybrid work environment, offering a balanced blend of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility.

The following include but may not be limited to the responsibilities of the Project Manager:

  • Develop and manage detailed project plans for IT initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Manager and Technical Consultants to forecast and allocate technical resources effectively.
  • Prepare accurate estimates for project timelines, resource needs, costs, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Lead cross-functional teams—including developers, engineers, and support staff—to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Implement and manage change control processes to track impacts on scope, budget, timeline, and expected outcomes.
  • Identify and mitigate risks and issues across infrastructure, software, and service delivery projects.
  • Continuously improve project methodologies and documentation, incorporating industry best practices (e.g., Agile, ITIL, PMBOK).
  • Communicate project status, risks, and updates to stakeholders through clear and timely reporting.
  • Partner with the Service Delivery team to ensure client expectations are met and satisfaction remains high.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor on IT solutions and services.
  • Ensure compliance with SLAs, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitate regular operational meetings with clients to review performance and upcoming initiatives.
  • Act as an escalation point for unresolved technical or service issues.
  • Proactively identify and resolve challenges in service delivery and project execution.
  • Coordinate and schedule technical activities with clients and internal teams.
  • Lead and contribute to bids, tenders, and proposals for new IT projects and services.
  • Manage internal IT projects, including infrastructure upgrades, software deployments, and process improvements.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries and service requests.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

 

Who we are looking for 

Successful candidate needs to have strong project management experience alongside:

Technical Expertise

  • Infrastructure Management: Proven experience leading server and storage implementation projects
  • Cybersecurity: Skilled in managing security audits and implementing remediation strategies across client environments
  • Cloud Solutions: Hands-on experience with cloud migrations, including IaaSMicrosoft 365, and hybrid environments
  • Network Infrastructure: Strong background in managing network installations, upgrades, and redesigns
  • Unified Communications: Experience delivering collaboration solutions such as 3CX and Microsoft Teams Voice

 Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as an IT Project Manager, delivering complex technical projects across infrastructure, cloud, and security domains
  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Project Management certification (PMP Certification) preferred
